Bacon Saturday and Photo hunt

Friends it has been a rare week...OMCs

I got ~~turkey not pork~~ bacon..BUT ~~mom is stingy~~ it was served sparingly. She gave me 1/2 of a half of a whole piece.

For those of you fraction challenged...

that is 1/4 piece. Exhibit one below

demonstrates: 1/2 piece not crumbled,

crumbles are 1/4 which I had to share!!

I inquired as to the fate of the other 1/4 piece

I was told I'd get that later. I will say she was

as good as her word I did get the other piece

This week the wheels on Dad's car,~~which is~~

~~4 wheel drive but not on ice~~, have

been sitting on about 1/4" of ice due to a sleet

event on Tuesday night

these wheels have not been going,

'round and round'.

It was sent to us to use as a new header for our blog.....
Nellie's mom sent explicit written instructions (with pictures) for mom telling Mom how to put on our blog as a header.
Alas, mom was not able to successfully accomplish this task but we sure do love it on the cover of volume 9.

an email from at noonish. She has been w/o power since Monday. All due to this nasty sleet/ice/snow event in the South. It had just come on. Still no water. She thinks it is because the pump is frozen she hopes the light in the pump house will warm it up.

Mom and I are hosting the Water Hole event......all day on April 16th!!

We'd love for everyone to send us a photo of your favorite
watering hole...it would be nice if you are in the photo too!!
It can be anywhere, any type of watering hole,
pond, creek, ocean, puddle, tub, your own personal water fountain
anything with water. Even if it is you sneaking a sip out of your peeps glass. If you peeps want to submit a photo, of their favorite watering holes they may!!!
