Mom and I thank Hootin' Anni for sponsoring this fun day
Today's song is "Born Free"!! Even though it was written about my distant cousins, I gave Mom permission to use pictures of some majestic, free creatures she took pictures of last weekend. We hope you enjoy the pictures and we dedicate it to our friends Ms. R her, Hubby and the beautiful creatures who share their farm.
Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Live free, and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star
Stay free where no walls divide youYou are free as the roaring tide
So there is no need to hide
Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'Cause you are born free.
Please click on the below video to enjoy while listening to Mr. Andy Williams sing this beautiful song.
We thank you for stopping by to see us today,

That last picture of the horse hiding behind the leaves, now that's a perfect illustration of 'there's no need to hide". Love it.

Oh my gosh....a favorite song of mine!! [and a great movie too] Madi, I do so love your photo at the beginning. I see you're a table top kinda gal also. Our kitties do the same....only I think purrhaps you're more regal, guess that's why you're a 'diva'.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Love the song, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the white stallion .... wow.
Here's Mine...Sting's Fields of Gold Have a wonderful day.
Beautiful post. Mum says she remembers that film as though it was yesterday and loves the song. Hugs GJ x

ReplyDeleteOOOH those horses are just stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty pictures! I likes that song. My grandpa doesn't like it, though. Cuz he went to see the movie when it first came out and he just cried and cried about it. And he's WAY more of a doggie pawson than a kitteh pawson!
ReplyDeleteSo I don't think I oughta ever see that movie if it made my grandpa cry!
Happy Thursday, Madi!
