SHOWS YOU ALL JUST HOW SPRING IS GOING.
AS LONG AS I HAVE A SUN PUDDLE I DON'T CARE WHAT SEASON IS HERE.
Dad has the green thumb in the family. He bought this
pretty pot and the flowers separately and lo and behold
look at the pretty he made for our deck.
I know this is a rodent but what can I say mom thinks
Charley is adorable....and evidently Charley likes to pose.
This is actually a 'real' Carolina Wren house.
We have had it up for 10+ years. This year is the first time
we've had residents!!!

Hi Madi, we love Spring in your yard with all of the bird activity!
ReplyDeleteMom got some wonderful photos.
She has to enjoy it while she can before the 3 H's arrive. (Heat,Humidity and Haze of summer!)
You be a good Diva and relax in the sun puddles.
Hugs and nose taps,
Kathy and Molly
What a beautiful post! We have all those birds, too. Unfortunately we've never got to see any chipmunks, though. Fortunately, we can see yours! Have a great Caturday, Madi. XOXO from your bestest mancat, Prancer Pie.
ReplyDeletePee Ess - we hope your Mom enjoys her day off!
You sure have a lot of birdies to look at. Hope that sun puddle is in a good spot for viewing Bird TV. And I hope your beautiful mom enjoys a day of rest and relax. Just make sure she meets all your needs.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Madi, you must get some really awesome bird TV in the spring!
ReplyDeleteAW, the baby birds are so cute. It looks like spring has sprung at your house. We love the birds and flowers and of course Charley! Don't work too hard this weekend. And Madi, enjoy your sunpuddle.

Madi, you sure have a lot of great bird TV there! Yum! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour dad did a great job with the planter; maybe we can borrow him for an hour or two for our garden?
Have a super weekend!

Your garden and its inhabitants are charming Madi. It made us smile. Mum have a nice day off and we look forward to the fun Derry & Nicki interview on Monday. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We have no chipmunks. :( You have such nice birdies in your garden. Mommy loves those hummingbirds.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day off!
Enjoy your day off~ It is definitely spring in your backyard!!
ReplyDeleteOur Person saw our first chipmunk out at the barn finding the food that the cats eat out there. They are too cute. This one was fairly tame too. Those birds are our favorites too. We love the little chickadees. We don't have too many of them around here.Hope the Mom has a nice day off tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAnd hope that Grandma is doing all right.
Those are all great photos! Have a happy and sunpuddle filled weekend pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun birdie post! We have a lot of the same ones here. Our bluebirds have started on their second brood already. Those wrens sure are smushed into that nest.
ReplyDeleteMillie & Walter
OMD...you've got all sorts of baby bird nursery's & restaurants in your garden - that is too cool!! Mom would LOVE to see a hummingbird, we don't have them in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day off.
Wally & Sammy
Madi, if only you and your Mom could see how ferociously my tail is wagging at that picture of the chipmunk and at the thought of giving chase. Oh if only we had chipmunks in Scotland...
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
tell mom i am moling with you and boling and loling... Mom is so clever with her remarks. i like that new yellow pot, really beautiful.... Jake would BOL but he is having one of those running dreams and is busy moaning and running in his sleep.
ReplyDeleteYour Carolina wren house is the best home for birds I saw - They are safe there and no one can destroy this house accidentally! I love your flower pot - That's my favorite color. Have a fabulous Caturday Madi&Mom
ReplyDeleteWe love your Spring bird pictures Madi, what great pics! That chipmunk is just too cute for words - wish we had them.
ReplyDeleteDip Bridge and Elliot x
Madi your flowers are beautiful. We love ALL of your Birds. ESP. the Hummers and the Eastern Bluebirds... they are two of OUR favorites.
ReplyDeleteWE chase Chipmunks... ALL the time... there are like 87,000 of them around our hill. We don't actually get REAL Squirrels.. butt around these parts Chipmunks are called GROUND Squirrels also... so THOSE are the kind of Evil Squirrels that WE CHASE.
Your Dad did a great job on that planter of pretty flowers. Mom tried letting her planters out of jail, but somepup got hungry. So the fence went back up.
ReplyDeleteIt must be so much fun watching those birds (we chuckled at the Good morning doves). Mom would love to have feeders here but she worries that we have too much interest in what flies through our yard:(
Tell Mom we hope tomorrow is a relaxing day and not more work for her.
Thunder
Oops, that was supposed to be signed by all of us.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Oh I love your wildlife tours mate! You get lots of different little guys to us. Good job KC isn't about your place; that's all I'm sayin'..... Your big pal, Dec x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look at spring! Enjoy tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You're right about sun puddles... They are a favorite of ours too.... Nothing better.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles
Lovely photos, madi. Momma loves plants so she especially liked the plant on that yellow pot. Wow, you have all those boootiful birdies on your garden? Cool!
ReplyDeleteLots of activity in your yard Madi...it should make for some good Bird TV watching....Have a peaceful Sunday
ReplyDeleteMorning Madi, Nature sure is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Ruthie
Madi that was a great post.
ReplyDeleteWe loved seeing all those (yummy)birdies.
I bet you really enjoy your birdie tv!
*hugs and kisses*
Love those hummingbirds, too!
ReplyDeleteWe're always glad that sun puddles don't depend on seasons.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Awwwww, we love your post. Look at all those beautiful little birds and that plant. Daddy sure did good planting it.
ReplyDeleteWe've not seen any Hummers here yet but we've got all our feeders up and all our Hummer plants planted. We do have ALOT of deer and every morning Mommy has to go out and pick up all the bird feeders and Hummer feeders off the ground. Those darn deer knock them down EVERY night to get to the food. Then they reached over the deck last night and ate part of our tomato plant! The nerve.....
We love your little Wren. They are always a joy to watch, especially when Mommy Wren goes in to feed them.
Enjoy your view outside girlfriend! You get to see it all.
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
You have lots of lovely birds to watch on your Bird TV Madi.
ReplyDeleteThose are some great pictures, Madi. We like that bluebird. The mom is sad because she hasn't seen any hummers yet, even though she has the feeder out. She thinks the neighbors are stealing all the hummers with their feeder. ;)
ReplyDeleteDad did a great job planting that container.
ReplyDeleteCharlie's Mississippi Cousin was in grave danger yesterday. My barn kitty Splotches narrowly missed him!
