So far it has not been too bad here in SoCal - nothing that an open window, or a bit of A/C can't handle. We have been fortunate.
ReplyDeleteYou visit Phoenix so you can see what hot actually is and then you go home and say "Boy, I'm glad it's not as hot here as it is in Phoenix!" :)
ReplyDeleteWe had our first hot day today, but just had thunderstorms so we're cooling down. We're wimps...we stay in the air conditioning.
ReplyDeleteWe have been lucky so far the temps have not hit 90 yet. When it does get hot we will stay close to our fountain too. The Kitty Krew will get ice cubes in their water bowl and Mama will cool down the catio with water mist.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to tell Jack about the 90% humidity that goes with your heat. We think he would melt in NC. MOL! When it hits over 100 here our humidity is low just like Phoenix.

We stay in the a/c. BUT, when it's too hot for us and not for HER, SHE puts on the ceiling fans and dampens us down with a wash cloth. Then we lie under the fans and stay cool.

It is really hot here too. We just have to sit still and drink cold water and hope that it cools off soon. It sure isn't any fun. Try to stay cool.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is consistently in the high 90s or early 100s. Mommy can't stand the hots which means we all get to enjoy the a/c. Heh heh.

Wow!! It sure is warm there. We've got nothing butt rain and cooler temp's here in NY. In fact, since we've been back it's rained almost every day. We should have stayed in Florida!

Well that is a good question. When I am at Bert's I just like laying in his house cuz he has the air conditioning. But at home we do not have air conditioning or even a swamp cooler (non humid peeps and pups will know what that is). All we have is a little fan. But it's all good. I love the shade of a tree or the cool bathroom floor.

AC in the house, AC in the car, AC in whatever building I go in to shop... I stay indoors and take 10 minute a few times a day to walk around the pool and get in the pool and run back in the AC... so do the dogs... we woke up to 82 which means OH NO for the rest of the day...

By being a slug and staying inside. But, can't always do that. We have hay on the ground today and have to get it up. Storms rolling thru Mississippi this evening.

It has been in the 90's here too and we did hit 100 one day. But we do NOT have humidity! So while it is still HOTTER than blazes, it is more comfortable. We think it is best spent in the pool!

It's hot here too, not quite at 97 YET! We usually stay inside for most of the hot day and chill by the a/c vents in the floor. Mom puts ice cubes in our water bowl too:)
