The duct cleaning sucky monster arrived at our house promptly
at 10:30ish on Friday 10/17/14.
They have a big sucky monster in the truck.
They put the sucky monster under the house near the ducts.
A small hose similar to the ones you use to
put air in your tires ran from the truck
in the front door and up the stairs.
The compressed air was forced into each vent in the house.
This little hose did not make any bothersome noises.
It flushed the dust from the vents down to the sucky monster.
Due to all the commotion and nose and open door and no room
for me to hide in...Mom got me a Large Dog Kennel as my safe place. She put a clean litter box, my blankie, my food and
OMCs...I had a water thingie kinda like what
rabbits have.
I don't think I drank any water from it though.
They said it might take 4 hours and she wanted to be prepared.
I ate my delish kibble lickety split.....
The for the rest of the torture I kept my eyes peeled for
introoders. Once they brought out a shop vac to clean up the floor.
I did not like that one iota!!
I don't like vacs at all. Mom came in to check on me.
I was all tucked in the back corner, 3/4 of my body in the (clean) litter box and my hind 1/4 hanging off the back.
SHE LAUGHED.....
YES THERE WILL BE DEMERITS
To quote Patrick Swayze in
Dirty Dancing..."no one puts Baby in the corner"!
Thankfully it only took 2 hours not 4 hours that was originally quoted. BUT I did have a lot
of smell mail to check after the introoders
and the sucky monster departed.
Now we have a giant K9 kennel at the house...but never fear it will be used again. Next time there is an indoor project....in the meantime maybe we should have some K9s for a sleep over. MOL

Glad it only took 2 hours!
ReplyDeleteYou poor dear! How awfuls it must have been for you. Monday should certainly be a day of rest and relaxation for you. As for that dreadful kennel - that should be carted out of your house ASAP! (even before demerits are issued!)
ReplyDeleteSweet kissies from your besties at Angel Prancer Pie.
What a horrible and traumatic event! We think you deserve lots of your most fave treats and games....just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteWow, I bet you are glad THAT'S over!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you've been sprung and it only took 2 hours.
ReplyDeleteNow make Mom pay !
Loves and licky kisses

Great it only took 2 hours and you were sprung Madi. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
wow, that's the thingy with the octopus inside? scary, huh? seems it's really shock-tober... I'm glad it was over after two hours... and if you will never need that jail, you can send it to me... for my dad...
ReplyDeleteBawhahahahhahahaha …my assistant used to shove me one of those contraptions when they were trying to sell our house. A good trick is to spill your water and food and make a big mess …then they have to let you out and will have lots of clean up as punishment.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Angel Pip (out on good behavior for first anniversary)
Oh Madi, that sure looks like a scary time for you but so glad the Mom got that cage for you. It kept you nice and safe. And now it is all over, so have yourselves a great week.
ReplyDeleteBeing in the slammer can be sort of like a day spa....all of the conveniences and you hardly have to move! We all get put in the slammer when the Slug-a-bug guy comes.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
your guy Raz and The Florida Furkids
that second shot of you in the slammer you look just a tad Spooked! glad it was much shorter than you thought.. and now you have clean air to breathe... great idea, the crate i mean and can be used again and again...
ReplyDeleteI am SURE I wouldn't like this either! You did good tho. Mom didn't get scratched, but the demerits are sure to come. You gave her fair warning.
ReplyDeleteNext time whip her butt in catnopoly, and get a get out of jail card free. They come in handy.
DeleteMadi, my LLS, you are a much braver girl than me! Glad you got sprung from your jail.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Laila, your LLS and Minchie, your BFF
OH THE HORROR... Not JUST Vacula... butt GIANT Vacula... in your house...for MORE than 87 minutes. What a terrible thingy.... BUTT WAIT... there was MORE????? Your Peeps put you in a CELL?
ReplyDeleteTHIS is NO WAY to Treat a DIVA... a MAYORIAL DIVA... No WAY to treat you at all. We think that you DESERVE some SNACKS and EXTRA Naps to help you recover from this TRAUMA.
oh man, it's gonna take a lot of kitty treats for Mom to make up to you Madi
ReplyDeleteOh poor Madi!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a calm week, no more monsters!!!!!!
We are so glad you survived your incarceration, Madi!
ReplyDeleteAnd now maybe your peeps, especially Dad, will breathe better!
Hugs and nose taps,
Kathy and Molly
WEll Madi we suggest you lay on her face while she sleeps tonight...we have that very same crate....we only use it when we want to eat a treat without the others knowing it......
ReplyDeletestella rose
Oh dear, you poor thing! But the kennel isn't so bad, you know. It's kind of cozy to have a spot to retreat to when things get kerazy at home.
ReplyDeleteBetter to be safe that sorry, we say Madi. that looks just like the crate we have at our house. Hazel used it till she was about 2 and then Greta still used it. Mom & Dad put it away yesterday to wait for the next little puglet - some day.
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey & Hazel
Aw, poor sweetie. We know all about that vent procedure and were amazed how quiet that big sucky monster was. Don't be too hard on Mom. She was trying to do good! We didn't even get a safety cage! Purrs...
ReplyDeleteWhew...that must have been torutre for SURE!! We hope you were well rewarded with lots of kitty treats!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
PeeEss...Our current blog post was eaten by the blogger monster...but Mama has reposted it if you wanna see the pictures... ;-)
Oh Madi, how terrifying! Then she traps you like bait for the sucky instead
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Oh Madi, what an ordeal! I would not be able to take that torture! Hopefully once it ended you got lots of compensating cuddles and some very delicious treats.
ReplyDeleteMadi we are glad that it was over lickety split! Well not split enough I guess but at least it took half the time! We are glad you were safe from the evil vacuums! I hope you got extra treats for all the fright you were put through.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you were safe in your den from the sucky monster Madi!
ReplyDeleteDip and Elliot x
Oh wow Madi sowwy yous got all locked up but at least yous wuz safe. Hav a pawsum day.

ReplyDeleteThat evil and nosiy thing had to be very scary, but you are very brave pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteThat just seems so wrong that you were incarcerated. This is clearly a violation of your 4th Amendment rights (search and seizure) and 8th (cruel and unusual punishment). You need to call an attorney!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You were very brave Madi! I would be throwing myself against the bars if I was locked up in jail.
ReplyDeleteGlad you survived your stint in jail, Madi. Phantom and Ciara love their crates, but they don't look like that - they are the kind for air travel. Don't ever think about putting Lightning in a crate - he truly HATES them.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Two hours is like, a lifetime!!!! Glad you survived!! xox
ReplyDeleteYou are very brave. We would love to come visit but we don't think that crate is big enough for either of us. We don' t mind our crate and Millie likes to hang out and take naps in there all on her own. Of course the door is always open.
ReplyDeleteTwo hours in the slammer is a long time! You don't look too happy with that thing in the photo. Your Mom is going to be recovering from demerits for a long time.
ReplyDeleteGlad your time in the slammer was short!
ReplyDeleteWe don't like strangers in our house either.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by for my purrthday.
That hadda be the LOOOOONGEST 2 hours, ever! Glad it's all over!!
ReplyDeleteLove how u ate your delish kibble before the dustzilla peeps arrived. That was smart thinking! Oh, did i hear u right and say doggie sleepover. We will so be there. :)
ReplyDeleteYikes! Glad it only took 2 hours. A doggy sleepover though? That sounds like crazy talk! MOL
ReplyDeleteWow you were really brave Madi! Fantastic idea your Mom had to give you a great space like that. Mom has been wanting to have that done but wasn't sure what to do with Ralphie and Me, now she does. Thanks :)
