Angel Sammy and brudder Teddy
Today's 4 word challenges are
open, octopus, olive and odd
Oh Sammy dear you sent a swarm of (brain) worms on a crazy path
they embedded themselves in Mom's head.
Our poems are most often about pussy cats.
Odd(ly) this one is all about an octOpussy
Whom I understand is not a bit wussy.
Her name is Olive Oyl.
She can be pushy
Popeye the Sailor is her man
He can open a can with his bare hands
His love is true he spoils her with mushy words.
He sings of his strengths while puffin' on a pipe.
THE END!!!!!!
Bravo!!! that were clever picked words this time... you created a super poem. Popeye was the nightmare of the mamas childhood... she always had to eat the spinach for him... she got no muscles nor tattoo's but she started to smoke.... epic backfiring of an education method I think... and spinach is banned in this house ;o)
ReplyDeleteMOL! That was really creative!
ReplyDeleteYou have us rolling on the floor, Madi☺ That was just awesome!

Fantastic poem with all those silly words. We like that. You all have a fine day.
ReplyDeleteOh, the party in your head! Quite imaginative and clever Madi's Mom... you crack me up! I used to love spinach out of a can but not so much anymore. I do love fresh spinach though. Fried in a bit of olive oil and butter, in a salad, or in soups. Good Morning! Still working on the Meatball soup. It has been so hot here. Hoping to make it next week when the weather finally takes a very cool fall turn! Still no case for me. The one on the 19th was cancelled and now I have to call Sunday night. Fingers crossed and hoping to have nothing!
