    that's a good question... we say yes, because we had this adventure yesterday. it was just a big branch but we heard the noise lOL

    That sure was a big tree that fell. We're sure all the creatures of the forest take notice and hear a tree falling. Mainly to get out of the way! BOL!

    A fallen tree becomes home to many critters, and gives life as it decays.

    When our giant silver maple was cut down, the sections of big branches each made a huge thump when they hit the ground.
