  4. YES! Perfection in a poem.....just what most of us saw and felt when we studied this persistent little yellow flower in the pavement. DETERMINATION!

Thanks for playing poetry with us...............

  5. Aw that is a lovely poem. We have learned, this year, quite how abundantly our flowers will grow through cracks in the pavement, if the city council suspend their weed killing services!

  7. Good poem for the picture.

Ya know I have seen things growing in the strangest places. Up on a roof in a crack. Next to a bridge pillar with all concrete around it. Where there is a will there is a way.

    well hurt my back

  13. The queen of pavement braving the heat...
Stop and say howdy would be quite neat.
Don't pick me, I will shrivel & wilt...
    Enjoy my beauty, my beauty,
    to the hilt!

  14. That's a tough flower to worm its way through that crack - your poem says it all very well.
