Thanks LLB Gang for hosting Nature Friday
My husband is a huge fan of model railroading especially O scale.
There are zillions of entertaining and informative videos on YouTube.
Recently he discovered Cats can be Rail fans too
We both enjoyed this one with two fancy footed felines: Tuxie and Tabby
I took these photos of the TV screen while he watched the video
More photos from our trek in Turnberry....where all the Berries had Turned very red
we like such small worlds we can build at home... and we always always remember the antenna of a car made from a whisker....
ReplyDeleteBertie would love an opportunity to prove that dogs can be model railway fans too. (We already know that he is a fan of life-sized ones, although sadly it's been over a year now since we were last on a train. Train travel is another of life's pleasures on hold while were are is the grip of the Virus...)
ReplyDeleteWho knew that cats could love model trains so much. What beautiful bunches of red berries!
ReplyDeleteMom has never framed a puzzle. She puts them back in the box. If it's one she really likes; she saves it to work a 2nd time and if not; she donates it to the library.
DeleteDad says he had an HO scale set growing up. Made him wonder what ever happened to it. Beautiful berries, indeed! Enjoy the weekend, Cecilia!
ReplyDeleteI remember my 2 brothers with their HO trains. They wouldn't let me play. They were 8 and 10 years older than me, the stinkers.

ReplyDeleteLucky cat...most enthusiasts I know wouldn't let a cat anywhere near their precious models!!! Beautiful berries. YAM xx
Those cats are very interested in the model railway set ups. I didn't see Tabby at first.
ReplyDeletethose rail cats are cute. Luv the red berries. I hope you 2 have a great weekend. Boy, oh boy, it flooded here last night. Gonna be another soggy one here.
ReplyDeleteThose berries are very very red and beautiful! The cats is too funny reminds me of Maddie a lot and I know it did you too and who knew that cats love the railroads
ReplyDeleteMom says those small model railroads are really fun to see too. Cats should stay away, though so they don't destroy anything or get their furs in the tracks.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense to me that kitties would love model trains. We love them, too. Katty reminded me about the whisker! Red berries are a joy to see in winter, even in Floridadoodee!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet watching those trains are fun and let's bring on blooming season!
ReplyDeleteThat cat looks like it's learned how to carefully tip toe around the trains. We wonder if it chases the trains when they are running.
ReplyDeleteAw, so cute. Kitties can go where they want and we let them. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥
We wonder if those kitties chase the trains around when they're moving?
ReplyDeleteThose cats are having fun!!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that train set! How totally pro looking it is. And the cat..my goodness. Talk about sure footed!
ReplyDeleteThose cats are living an awesome life.
ReplyDeleteDad always wanted to do that. Hint Hint Dad. Great kitty footwork and very nice pictures too
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine if that was a real train and community and a giant cat (look at the scale)appeared? Goodness, I really need this isolation thing to go away.
ReplyDeleteOh, kittehs AND trains??! What a FABulous combo! Definitely wouldn't trust a pupper like that! (or, at least Ma wouldn't trust MOI walkin' in the setup! BOL!!!)
ReplyDeleteOkays, Ma wants to live in that Trading Post!!!! gosh, such wonderful thingies! she would spend all her green papers! 😂

Ruby ♥
