This is one of the homes we see on when we ride thru
Country Club Estates
It makes me HAPPY for many reasons:
1. I don't have to cut the grass
2. I don't clean the windows
3. I don't have to vacuum or mop
4. I don't have to pay utility bills or even worse
Property taxes!!
What makes you happy about it?
we are totally with you... and it looks as if it will not need diy projects and duct tape hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThat is a big house! All those things would make me happy too, or maybe I should say relieved!
ReplyDeleteTotally my thought these days. Although as a child it would have prompted fantasies about living in such a grand establishment!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty and I love the windows but it's way too big for me and Molly!
ReplyDeleteNo close neighbors?!!
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteThat is a good list of reasons to be happy - plus, being able to please the eye gazing upon it with none of the pain of all that upkeep! YAM xx
I agree with all your reasons and the only one i can add is I am more the log cabin type, this is to formal for me. i can't even imagine the taxes. my cousin once lived in a house that her taxes were more than I made at my job.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's funny! Before I read your comments, I tried to imagine what *could* make you happy about this house, and all I could come up with were, possibly, the trees. We have a house like that located not far enough back on the 55 acres behind us...
ReplyDeleteI'm happy it isn't mine. I couldn't afford the upkeep and the property taxes. Made me think though.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug, honey. ♥
That sure is a beautiful house but we agree that the upkeep on something like that would be a lot. Maybe if I win the lottery I can afford all the staff I would need to keep it up. BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with you on all points!
ReplyDeleteI agree with your four! I also would not want to pay for tuck pointing the brick as the years go by. We had to do tuckpointing on our chimney before we sold our home in St. Louis in 2001 and that was a chunk of change. It's a pretty home but it needs some personality!
ReplyDeleteI am with you ~ lovely to look at but don't need it and all the maintenance it entails ~ Great post and photo Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you lots of happy moments,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I think it's a pretty house but I wouldn't want to clean the gutters!
ReplyDeletetotally agree C .....nice house but couldn't afford to live there !! hope you are aye OK weather wise ....
ReplyDeletestay safe ☺☺♥♥
We totally agree with you on this, and
ReplyDelete1. I like their wreaths and that I did NOT have to climb a ladder to hang them
2. I don't have to clean the gutters
We forgot to tell you to have a marvellously happy day!
DeleteLovely estate, but more work than I would want! Fun to drive by!
ReplyDeleteI know I left a comment earlier today. Lol, maybe I left before clicking publish. Not surprising. My thought was no close neighbors!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have to clean it
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful house, but I am also glad I don't have to clean it or pay the taxes. :) XO
ReplyDeleteOur Dad would love that house, but Mom is with you.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I thought for sure you were going to say the symmetry. I'd love to tour the inside.
