ReplyDeleteDad says he loves footbridges like that. He and mom are foregoing a "real" hike today since they're not too comfortable with the recent snow & ice. Instead, they're going down to Fletcher to walk the simple Fletcher Park Loop Trail for a nice easy but out-and-about walk. Lovely symmetry find, too!

ReplyDeleteI love that bridge and would love to walk across it. I wonder if kids imagine trolls under it or play "Pooh sticks." Do kids do these things anymore? Looking back at your week, that large home is lovely, but I agree on all the points, especially the property tax. I do sometimes wish we were lake front and not lake access, but then I think about the taxes and all the lake traffic and think our house is in the perfect spot. Lee and Phod's Lady
