This home is located along one of my 1 1/2 mile EMW (early morning walks) routes
Full disclosure: A landscape architect lives here.
My roving photo journalist Janice sent me this email and photo
I have a suet feeder hanging on a shepherd’s hook in back natural area. Check out the acrobatic and determined squirrel enjoying it! He didn’t even run away when I opened the back door! He may finish the duet cake before he stops 😂
Symmetry Squirrel dining upside down
Janice and I both wondered how he can digest upside down.
you know I LOVE the upside down critter most of all and might think it odd, but I prefer your friends back yard over the landscape house. it is way to perfect, looks like Man created it not God. I love your home and the way it looks and much better than this one. i love the house with the stone stair steps also..
ReplyDeleteThat house and landscaping are BEAUTIFUL......wish I had a professional landscaper in the family! LOL As for that acrobatic squirrel - we love it when they hang from the birdfeeder to eat the seeds they steal - there have been occasions (seriously and I wish I could have a camera handy when it happens!) when THREE squirrels are hanging from the edge of our birdfeeder eating away. Nothing stops a hungry squirrel even having blood rush to their heads upside down!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
What a beautiful home and that is one nutty squirrel!

ReplyDeleteNo doubting the symmetry of the landscape there... but I am with Sandra, much to rigid for my personal taste! The squirrel though, that's a winner!!! YAM xx
That home sure is pretty and the Squirrel Circus looks like fun entertainment!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful house and landscaping. Janice might want to invest in hot pepper suet cakes that we use. It's no problem for the birds but the squirrels (and chipmunks) learned very quickly that it was too hot for them.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely hire that landscape architect. XO
ReplyDeleteThose pesky squirrels are everywhere. Love your new header!!
ReplyDeleteGotta love the squirrel!! We don't have the ones with white bellies. And I like the manicured yard, but would need to rob a bank to pay for upkeep.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely grounds to the house.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful
ReplyDeleteNo. 1: Love your new header ... we think you, also, are a landscape artist as proven by this design! No. 2: The symmetry
ReplyDeletethe landscaper chose seems to frame his home and the stone steps so perfectly, something less formal might not be as
pleasing. No. 3: As for Mr. Squirrel, where's there's a will, there is a way!
Beautifully landscaped yard. You clicked a lovely photo, Cecilia.
ReplyDeletemaybe he's stuffing his cheeks like a hamster :) Oh yes, I need him in my yard a couple of years!
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to say Happy Mother's Day from all of us!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing, about how the food actually makes it down into his stomach! That house sure is landscaped beautifully. (OK, I'm jealous.)
