Wow, that magnolia truly is HUGE!
ReplyDeleteHere in Aberdeen, I think we must be at the northern end of the range where magnolia will grow. The few I see here tend to be small and not very impressive specimens. (The flowers are still beautiful though.)
Enjoy your Serene Sunday.
Cheers, Gail.
That magnolia will look amazing when it is in full flower.
ReplyDeletewe have magnolias here in FL but they don't get this big. most of ours are small. I love sunrise walks

ReplyDeleteThere was one of those giant 'fried egg' (coz that's what the blooms look like when open) magnolia trees in Sydney Botanic Gardens... I always admired it. YAM xx
A most perfect time of day to walk!! Such intense (yet calming) beauty everywhere.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm originally from PA, I clearly remember my wonder at my first sight of a magnolia tree in bloom.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures today. That sure is a huge magnolia tree.
ReplyDeleteThe Magnolia is a GIANT of a tree! Lead Mine Lake looks so serene. A beautiful early morning walk!
ReplyDeleteHello! We are finally catching up and hopeful to be more on our game in the next few weeks. It has been sooo hot! Your heron made Lady's heart happy. Did you know it is her favourite bird? She saw one in the city last week. It has been super hot and dry here, but finally we are getting some rain. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteYour neck of the woods is very pretty and quite scenic!
ReplyDeleteThat is a HUGE tree! The closest Magnolia to us is four houses down so we don't get to enjoy that fragrance like their next door neighbors do!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom
Beautiful photos. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely weather you're having!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S what we have here. That is a magnolia tree by gosh. Not those strange things so many people call magnolias.
