Thoroughly Poetic Thankful Thursday #118

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is today's inspiration

This is a most precious photo of a Mother's Love and quite appropriate,

Mother's Day is May 14th.

Mothers love us like no other
They love us from the tip of our noses
to the tip of our toesies.

21 years ago today we adopted Angel Madi.  We are so very thankful for all the   joy and laughter she brought to our lives.  For her UNCONDITIONAL LOVE in spite of our many many mistakes.

May 11, 2002, she was 2 months old.

The next day May 12, 2002 was

Mother's Day

Madi was a girly girl...she had beautiful parts and pieces. We love all 11 lbs of her starting with her thick, luxurious gray fur with soft white patches, her long graceful ballerina legs, her gorgeous white hind legs and long tail, her long white whiskers**, her pink and black pads, her dainty white feet, the absolutely precious pink nose and the freckle, her ears feel like velvet, her white tummy that begs to be rubbed and those laser eyes.

  4. She was the sweetest little gift of "joy and laughter." Thank you for sharing her with us. She grew into a beautiful cat and her blog kept us entertained and charmed. I am so happy she landed with you. I always see her in mid-jump from counter to counter as Katty says. And also on her fireplace mantel expeditions.
Your poem is short and sweet♥ Perfect for Poetic Thursday!

  6. Awww, sweet Angel Madi, what a bundle of love you were, we're glad you "live on here" so we can still see and enjoy you!
And that is a perfect sentiment for the chimps (we're liking a Netflix special about them right now ...).
