On February 22, 2025 we tried a new, to us, Sandwich shop, Brooklyn Pickle,
website link at the end of post
Excellent sandwiches!!! It is now
in our rotation of Saturday lunch spots (since Seaboard Cafe closed in September 2024). It is about 4 miles from home.
I have never seen so many flavors of Potato Chips. They are lined up down the service counter. Inside sitting along the left wall.
They also have a roomy patio for dining in nice weather
Hours 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday.
We shared a back of Sea Salted, crunchy and taste.
Sandwiches and subs can be ordered in 1/2 or full size
we both ordered 1/2.
Bryan ordered their Brooklyn Pickle special: Cornbeef, pastrami and swiss cheese on wheat
Delicious but kinda messy. There was almost too much meat.
I ordered their delicious tuna salad sandwich.
The sink in the bathroom unique,
Motion sensitive Faucet in the middle but WAIT as soon as the water turns off
the wands on each side dry your hands...note sign reads "wait for air to activate"!!
I might have washed my hands twice.
that would be the place of our dad.. he is the biggest fan of potato chips... he probably would live there...
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like another great place to have discovered.
ReplyDeleteWell there's a fancy sink faucet that I've never even seen or heard of before. So Boston has the best pickles there are, lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Bryans sandwich sounds delicious. Of course I like tuna too. That is an interesting faucet. I've never seen one like that anywhere.
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteI like the look of that salad bar (says another chipoholic here...) Judging by those fillings, we are really talking full lunch without the need for washing up plates and cutlery afterwards! YAM xx
I want a sink like that in my bathroom and if I were there, might have even washed them 3 times. ha ha and I could live my entire life on sandwiches. in fact the 3 years I lived alone in my adult life, did live on sandwiches
