On February 22, 2025 we tried a new, to us, Sandwich shop, Brooklyn Pickle,
website link at the end of post
Excellent sandwiches!!! It is now
in our rotation of Saturday lunch spots (since Seaboard Cafe closed in September 2024). It is about 4 miles from home.
I have never seen so many flavors of Potato Chips. They are lined up down the service counter. Inside sitting along the left wall.
They also have a roomy patio for dining in nice weather
Hours 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday.
We shared a bag of Sea Salted, crunchy and taste.
Sandwiches and subs can be ordered in 1/2 or full size
we both ordered 1/2.
Bryan ordered their Brooklyn Pickle special: Cornbeef, pastrami and swiss cheese on wheat
Delicious but kinda messy. There was almost too much meat.
I ordered their delicious tuna salad sandwich.
The sink in the bathroom was unique,
Motion sensitive Faucet in the middle but WAIT as soon as the water turns off
the wands on each side dry your hands...note sign reads "wait for air to activate"!!
I might have washed my hands twice.
that would be the place of our dad.. he is the biggest fan of potato chips... he probably would live there...
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like another great place to have discovered.
ReplyDeleteWell there's a fancy sink faucet that I've never even seen or heard of before. So Boston has the best pickles there are, lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Bryans sandwich sounds delicious. Of course I like tuna too. That is an interesting faucet. I've never seen one like that anywhere.

ReplyDeleteI like the look of that salad bar (says another chipoholic here...) Judging by those fillings, we are really talking full lunch without the need for washing up plates and cutlery afterwards! YAM xx
I want a sink like that in my bathroom and if I were there, might have even washed them 3 times. ha ha and I could live my entire life on sandwiches. in fact the 3 years I lived alone in my adult life, did live on sandwiches
ReplyDeleteWe must be part cat. I order tuna a lot too. Love the sink.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great place for lunch. We've never seen anything like the water and air dryer all in one before.
ReplyDeleteLots of goodies to choose from ~ yummy ~
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I want to come with you for your Saturday lunches. I would enjoy this place. Then we can wash and dry our paws before and after lunch.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Love and hugs. ♥
The sandwiches look delicious and what a selection of potato chips! It would be hard to choose just one flavor although - going back means to get to choose what you wanted to last time☺
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool place, sounds a lot like the delis we had growing up in New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteI would have washes my hands at least twice...what a neat idea for a faucet!
hugs,
Beth
Tuna, sans that tomato...I never could understand tomato ruining a tuna sandwich. ;-) Just plain chips would be lovely. I'd like to go!!
ReplyDeleteOur mom could make a meal out of the chips!😹
ReplyDeleteMom would have to go there every day to try every different bag of chips:). Bryan's sandwich sounds very tasty. Mom isn't a big fan of tuna although our Dad is. Nice to try a new place and give it a thumbs up.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Thanks for the great review. I thought the Brooklyn Pickle was trying to find a parking spot on Flatbush Avenue
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good eatery and how fun with all those chips!
ReplyDeleteNever seen a faucet like that. The restaurant looks good. XO
ReplyDeleteYou're finding all kinds of great places to have lunch. Never saw a wash station like that ever before. Now I'll be watching for them.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice when you find a place that's a keeper.
ReplyDeleteI think that your tuna salad looks good. I am off tuna due to the lousy tuna that comes in cans for the last two years. I miss tuna salad sandwiches and tuna noodle casserole. I trust you that was a great tuna salad sandwich. I think you two have found another great place to eat... The Brooklyn Pickle!
