1. Original date for surgery was November 10, 2025...
thankful for being on a waiting list so that he could have surgery SOONER.
2. for all your pawsitive wishes on surgery day June 9
3. for a very good post op visit on June 10.
4. for Dr. L very talented hands at Raleigh Ophthalmology
5. Bryan can resume normal activities just no lifting over 20 lbs and no

ReplyDelete....counting the ceiling tiles..... LOL.... good one Miss C! YAM xx
And they brought the house down! YAY!
ReplyDeleteLove your poem and I would have loved to be at that performance!
ReplyDeleteI am glad everything went so well for Bryan. The not lifting anything heavy is the hardest to remember, you automatically go to do things you have always done. When I had major surgery I wasn't allowed to lift anything heavier than 1/4 filled kettle. The first thing I did when I got home from hospital was to bend down to lift Flynn who had come to greet me. Ivor screamed out no and Flynn went running. It was a close call though. I hope you can stop Bryan doing those cartwheels! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat poem too!

DeleteI got tickled at that last line!!!
DeleteWe want pictures of Bryan when he resumes doing cartwheels and handstands :)
ReplyDeleteWell at my age, nobody's going to see me doing handstands are cartwheels, LOL. They might find me flat on the floor. Good poem, but there's another thing you'll never see me doing because I have a tin ear.
ReplyDeleteSounds like he may need to hold off on the marathon training for a bit, but it is worth it for having his eye fixed. Time will fly by and he will be cleared to do everything before you know it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Bryan is doing well!
ReplyDeleteAs for the girl band, I bet they were a fun group of women!
I got tickled at Jackie's last sentence! Yup. Can't
ReplyDeletedo cartwheels yet but they're in your near future Bryan.
What a shame that Bryan will have to hold off on the handstands and cartwheels. I hope he finds another activity to fill his time with....lol
ReplyDeleteLove the poem. So cute.
with Ethel and Lucy in this band, I would have to hear it, but would bring ear plugs for just in case, ha ha ha ha ha I am also thankful for all of your thankful going so perfectly

ReplyDeleteOkay... very good about Bryan! I am sure he will be disappointed without his daily routine of cartwheels and headstands. Good words for your poem, C! I love this photo of these woman♥

TOTALLY perfect poem for the photo this week! Those gals look like they're having the time of their life.......I hope when I'm their age (in a year or so....haha) I can have that much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove. Pam
Very clever poem, Cecilia. Bravo, well done. And wow, that is amazing that you got that early call for the surgery. Mom always tells Dad to ask to have his name put on a waiting list when his wait is long. It never hurts and as you have discovered, you just might get lucky.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Those are all wonderful thankfuls, everything came together to get that eye treated. That was a really cute poem too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWonderful thankful list and great poem. XO
ReplyDeleteShe is a girl with healthy lungs
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad the surgery went so well, I'm sure you will restrain him in the handstands and cartwheels department.
ReplyDeleteYour poem is just right for this crew.
