Scenic Sunday

In the spring NC Department of Transportation plants fields and fields of
wildflowers...we saw so many like this.  Some sunflowers and some a mixture of colors of wildflowers.

Apologies for not dropping by yesterday, I was a bit under the weather.
We got our fall vaccines on Friday. They really threw me for a loop this year.

  3. So good to see wildflower management. So many benefits.
Hopefully the side effects of injections will be very short lived.

  4. Such a lovely idea to plant fields of wildflowers. I hope you are soon feeling better. We get our flu shots the beginning of October. I haven't heard about the Covid shots yet. Last year I had them both together, one in each arm

  5. Remember similar fields of flowers like that in Michigan; often done before planting crops ... you're blessed to have received needed vaccines, in some areas they are difficult to get.

  7. How pretty. I was on my way somewhere yesterday and saw a lot of purple flowers growing alongside the road. I wanted to stop but there was traffic behind me.

  8. That’s a real nice thing they do. It certainly brightens up a journey. I hope you are feeling better today. I will be getting my shots this week. Hugs, Denise xoxo

  9. What a glorious sight that must have been. Hope you feel better from the flu shot soon. Last year they gave us a choice of a very potent one or a not so potent one. Our reaction the year before indicated we needed to go with the not so potent.

  10. That can make us smile this morning... Beautiful wildflowers! I hope you are feeling better. I don't know if we are going to have to think about any reactions to shots this year. Covid specifically. Florida doesn't seem to want to get straightened out with the Covid vaccine. I am sure we can still get a flu shot.
