We thank our Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus
Yesterday, Monday December 22, 2025, we return from our visit to see our Daughter, SIL and 3 grandkitties who live on the beautiful NC Coast. Loads of photos that I will download soon. In the meantime.
Several of you asked if Angel Madi ever got in the tree
Here is her story and she is sticking to it
I, Madison D Cat, never got in the tree but I did ring the bell on the bottom branch a lot...which was to alert Mom I was near.
I never had plans to get in just loved seeing mom come running waving her hands in the air. She was such a loony tune.
Milky-Way da first cat got in the tree every year. According to Mom Milky-Way was a purrfect cat 11 months of the year.
Mom and Dad started putting it up a few days early so he could get climbing in it out of his system.
Toto da mighty mini Dachshund...didn't get in it
However, he was 100% pawsitive the water in the tree stand was for his convenience. And rumor has it he raised his leg cause he thought it needed yellow water. And I might add this was kinda funny according to Mom
because being vertically challenged, long body, short legs he sometimes lost his balance.
Sincerely,
Angel Madi

Merry Christmas Eve, Eve 12/23/2009
Oh boy does the house smell good. Mom has been cooking
up a storm. She likes for the house to smell good when my Sis (aka 1st family diva) and her hubby arrive so she bakes the day they are due.
ONE word of warning to all puppies and kitties.
DO
NOT
FALL
for
this...it gets me every year!!!
Mom says, Madi come here for some Christmas cheer.
I go galloping over to my dish thinking oh boy I bet it is ham or turkey.
Nope it is orange, I don't eat orange food.
Mom says it is pumpkin.
It is good for your constitution. Well
that is a load of malarky Mom!!!
Since our company sleeps upstairs near the office,Mom and I will be MIA for a few days. We will catch up with everyone as soon as possible because we'll miss you.
We found this pretty candle arrangement we'd like to share with you all
our Blogger Friends and their Assistants you have all added joy to our lives

Those are all lovely Christmas memories.
ReplyDeleteSweet Christmas memories. Of all the cats I ever had there was only ever 1 that tried to climb the tree. Most loved to lay underneath it though. I did have dogs a long time ago who always used to drink from the tree stand.
ReplyDeleteChristmas memories are the best! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi, thank you for clarifying whether or not you climbed the tree! And for the wonderful and funny Christmas memories. ❤️
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
The idea of trying to trick Angel Madie into eating pumpkin! Just for that she should have climbed the Christmas tree and sat at the very tip top where you couldn't have reached her, lol. I have to admit I have never had any of my cats try to climb the tree and only one used to take the ornaments off the bottom and break them.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your holidays are off to a good start with your visit to your daughter and now more company coming to your home. Enjoy your family time and have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMake Merry ~ well, sounds as though you already have ~ and are well on your way to making a lot more! So, enjoy your holiday from dawn to dusk with family, with great memories, and make new memories for the years to come! Holiday hugs from JUNE and Ann.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Christmas memories.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful Christmas memories!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas hugs,
Beth, Ed and the Girls
Glad you are home safe from the coast visit and everything went well. I loved the Madi story flashback. I don't have any Tree stories about our dogs, none of the six have ever bothered the tree. Now that I typed that, we have never had a big tree on the floor so that could be the reason. Merry Christmas to both of you
ReplyDeleteWonderful time with your daughter and more people to enjoy ~ Tis the season for many ~ Sweet memories of Madi ~
ReplyDeleteHugs and Merry Christmas to you and Angel Madi ~ xo
