Here is our fun photo challenge
In the spring of their lives,
they were adventurous
riding rides and taking trips all the time
In the fall of their life,
they were relaxed in no rush.
In the winter of their life,
just a wee bit of motion
rocked them to sleep.

Love the picture & your poem is purr-fect. D & I were discussing that we left on our first post-retirement cross-country RV trip the day after Labor Day, 2005! We were traveling with 2 Labrador Retrievers (one was 5 months old)! Thankful we retired early, don’t think I could do that today! 😉

ReplyDeleteGood health is always something to be thankful for. As for couples if you find the right person, life can be so much better but if you didn't find the right person, it can have the opposite effect.

Your "Couples" acrostic poem is so heartwarming. I love what you did with your seasons poem. I think SSNS and I are in the fall of our life. That works for me.
