 OMCs....my dream boat Raz invited me to accompany him to this grand event....

Thank goodness Mom was able to give me some time to practice being

a Fraulein before our big Date...

Here are some of my practice photos before I wore the very special 

RED Dress

Imagine my surprise when I found a mug of suds hanging from

my bungee. I gave it a sip...and OMCs I was hooked.

Thank goodness my practice dress was short.

I was had way more fun than I care to admit!

The suds gave me super powers 

Look at my purrfect jump while hanging on to my

mug of suds the rule is no matter what don't drop your mug

By late afternoon I was feeling the suds, my eyes got

heavy..I knew I better sit down before I fell and could not get up.

Thank goodness mom let me eat my bratwurst on the bed.

To all I bid a hearty Gute Nacht

and say Danke to Casey and Cinderella for
being such great hosts and to 
Pizap for furnishing my lovely frock, suds and bratwurst.
To my Schatz (sweetheart) Herr Raz I send
umarmungen(hugs) and kusse (kisses)
for a most memorable evening

MEOW LIKE A PIRATE DAY

TODAY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DAYS

We will be using Pirate words as we can

A Tale of Romance on the high seas
The Wench Happy Jackie finds her Cap'n


Ahoy mateys once I was Wench Happy Jackie (saucy female)
a Cap'n (captain) I had not.
I kept me deadlights (eyes) on high beam looking for a  
Mr. Rightnow...but none was to be found.
Me hearties (crew) Easy and Frank the Tank, two old 
sea dogs (experienced seaman), said Yo-ho-ho
we must find Corsair (romantic term for pirate).
before Wench Happy Jackie makes us walk the plank. Easy pulled out his spy glass (telescope).  They set sail on  their on the high seas.  All of a sudden Easy hollered shiver me timbers,I found him.
Frank the Tank bellowed sail ho (I see a ship).
There passing on the starboard side in a jolly boat (small happy craft) and a most handsome Cap'n Raz ...who just happened to be looking for his Queen of Hearts...
And as they say the rest is history
Fair winds (good bye, good luck) and may you 
all find your very own Queen/Cap'n/Corsair

I am no longer a Wench Happy Jackie but Raz is still my 
Cap'n
Cap'n Raz turned me into his Queen of Hearts on

PS and I'm glad 'cause I kinda like all the bling and especially
my tiara.

A Daisy of a Tale Thursday

Monday Mom bellowed used her inside voice 
to let me know I had some snail mail.
I jumped up on the counter in two shakes of a cat's tail 
to check it out....
OMCs I was pleased as punch when Mom told me it was
from my little Scottie pal Daisy way out in California.
When we saw this adorable Scottie tape...we both squealed.


FYI: we added lots of Daisies to my pictures in honor of Daisy.

During Sarge's Saftey Week extravaganza in August
Daisy invited everyone to pawticipate in her 
 "So you think you can Dig"
Contest...Being a Cat I have a PhD in litter box 
digging so this was right up my alley.

I especially liked looking at the colorful cover....
'cause I judge all books by their covers.

Daisy my sweet friend it was my pleasure to
pawticipate. 

I thank you from the bottom of 
my itty bitty kitty heart for sending me one of 
your favorite books on Sand.

Zack Friends.....Forever: Dog Daze

When I discovered pet blogs in 2008, it opened

an entirely new world for me. The first pet blogger I met was Ms. Kit from Dog  Daze

and her Beautiful Labradors, 

This is the header for their blog.

Buddy the black knight,

Sassy...well Sassy is just Sassy 

Zack the patriarch of the family. 

Ms. Kit from Dog Daze was my blog mentor. 

She gently encourage me to try blogging and was always there to help me....

Today I was humbled when Ms. Kit asked me to help her on this difficult day at Dog Daze.

Ms. Kit sent me what she wanted to post

but could not. 

Dear Friends,

Today we made the most compassionate, and most difficult decision a pet owner ever has to make. We allowed our vet to help Zack peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge, while I held him in my arms. 

Run free, sweet boy, and thank you for being our wonderful companion for 13 years.

Our hearts are broken.

David and Kit, Buddy and Sassy.

first day of the best 13 years of his life...
