My very good friend, Chelle, lives in Palm Coast, Florida. Recently she had family visiting from New England. She wore her tour guide hat. Chelle sent me these beautiful photos from Washington Oaks State Park. She told me there are always beautiful flowers in bloom. They have a whole rose garden section.

Friday Morning, May 28 we had a most unusual visitor.
A white wild jack rabbit. His ears were tan. Neither of us had ever seen a
white wild rabbit. I asked Gigi Google about it.
Supposedly we don't have white wild jack rabbits in NC but in Western USA. Gigi said they have white bodies and beige/tan ears. Just like this one.
They are white in the winter.
I tried to quietly go out the back door to get a better photo and to see if per chance he was albino. He was off in a flash which was fine. He is an easy target for the hawks in the area. I do hope he will turn brown soon, if he is a wild jackrabbit.
We are seeing a lot of bunnies this spring this is our first ever all white.
