Thoroughly Poetic Thursday hosted by
Here is our inspirational photo is
It was time to try new food!
She promised it would be good
She said open wide,
here comes an airplane.
I should not have laughed out loud.
I have no clue
what the green goo was in the spoon.
No worries I spit it out soon!
Next time she feeds me
she will wear a hood.
that sometimes happens with new food ;O)))...and to spit it out is a super idea ;O)
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun poem. You don't have to be a baby to want to spit out a new food either, but when you are older you are much more discreet about it. Yes it did happen to me! We were at a Captain's cocktail party on a cruise and I put what I thought was guacamole on a cracker and took a big bite of it. It wasn't, it was a very hot chilli paste. I thought my head was going to explode. Thank goodness I had a paper napkin to hand.
ReplyDeleteYour poem made me laugh out loud and so does the photo☺ Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Perfect! I love it....this certainly has happened to ANYONE trying to feed a baby something it's not happy about eating OR something it doesn't recognize that has passed the test! Love it.............
