Continued from yesterday....
The big secret in our house is that
this is where I do my 'business' .
True or False?
This is
FALSE!
This is actually my safe room when
it is thundering and lightning.
Mom says I'm smart to 'cause it is an
interior room with no windows
Kitties rule, peeps drool
When I was a wee 6 month old kitty
I had lofty thoughts of napping
on top of the Secretary on the right side of this
picture!
TRUE OR FALSE?
This is 100% TRUE
This is 100% TRUE
Of course you'll have to trust mom on this as we have no
pictures. When Dad came home one day, I greeted him with a
meow but he could not find me. I meowed louder which made
him look to his right...There I was on top of the 7' secretary
AND
he noticed I had been
teething on the fancy finial (pointy thing in the center).
Not one of my smarter days. In order to get me down
Dad would have needed a ladder which he knew
would scare me...so he
decided to see how I got down.
Finally I got bored so I jumped from the secretary, to the mantel,
walked across the mantel w/o disturbing anything, then
jumped over the lamp to the back of the white chair.
After repeating this several times, they finally
moved the chair out into the center of the floor where
it stayed for nearly 2 months!!
DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FINER MOMENTS!!

We love the way you kitties weave in and out of objects where us dogs would knock them flying. We thought this one might be true as our cat used to love it on top of our 6' book case.
ReplyDeleteDip Bridge and Elliot x
haha I was wrong. But for this jumping and walking on everything w/o damaging or disturbing anything I admire kitties! Imagine I would do that... hehehe
ReplyDeleteGood for you Madi getting way up on that secretary. That is a high up piece of furniture. Hope all of you have a fantastic week end.

ReplyDeleteThose humans are tricksey like that you knows Madi.
ReplyDeleteYou are smart to find a safe room!
Happy B'day to Harley's Dad.
Happy weekend.
We guessed right too. Too bad you can't still get up there. It looks like a great spot to watch the action in the house from.
ReplyDeleteMillie & Walter
I think the top of the secretary would be a fine place to view the action from. If I come visit, let's sneak up there anyway!
ReplyDeleteYay we were right. Mom wanted me to tell you when they lived in germany they had a cat named Sugar. They had a very tall cabinet in their livingroom called a shrunk...our version of a glass cabinet...one day she walked into the livingroom just in time to see sugar leap right up on top of that cabinet. You would have thought he had wings!!!
ReplyDeletestella rose
Madi, you are always full of surprises! BOL /LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your brother in law, he makes beautiful things in wood!
Hugs and nose taps,
Molly and Kathy
Hey Madi!
ReplyDeleteWow, this was such fun! I knew you were too smart to let that flushing beasie near your rump. BOL/MOL
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Pol Comm
Um...okay, that should have been beastie, not beasie. Shesh, darn paws! What the heck is a beasie?!? BWAR HAR HAR ahem.
ReplyDeleteNow I remember that is your safe room. Oh Madi, I am glad you didn't get into huge trouble for teething
ReplyDeleteLily
Happy Birthday human
Oh yeah Miss Madi you were one very adventurous kitty! That was daring and oh so much fun! We remember your mom relating that story!!!
ReplyDeleteThis one was a tough one for me. I wanted it to be that you could use the toilet and maybe even flush, but I just knew the secretary was true.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
Ha Madi! we got it right. Mom thinks maybe I am part feline. I have no problem getting on a chair and then the table. Mom once caught me thinking about jumping from a chair to the top of the bookcase! Good think she stopped me.
ReplyDeletehugs
Greta
Bailey & Hazel too
Hooray, I got it right too! Happy Birthday to the special humans in your life pretty Madi!

Bol you certainly showed your peeps who rules the house Madi!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Milo :)
I got it right! Happy Birthday to your BIL.
ReplyDeleteOur Tahoe would LOVE to get up on the mantel from the couch or love seat that are placed on each side of the fireplace....but so far, I've kept 'em both away from...at least I think so. There has been no evidence of her paw prints and nothing has been knocked down. Winston, on the other hand, he's a male cat...just sleep eat and poop....that's what ALL males do in my world. hehehehehe
ReplyDeleteMOL! Madi, we got it right. We know you're a smart girl but we knew you weren't potty trained. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaving seen my kitty siblings choose fun places to hide, I KNEW this one! Mine jump up on the kitchen counters to the top of the fridge to the cabinets.
ReplyDeleteHi Madi...Have a good Weekend! Purrs....
ReplyDeleteWe guessed right!!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You were so talented to be able to do all that to get up on a nice spot -- some snoopervising spots are worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteMamasays that she thinks high shelves and such are kitty magnets!! TeeHeeHee
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory
WE guessed correctly! Mommy of course failed on both counts, MOL!
ReplyDeleteWell if hade been here on time I would have guessed right :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Harley's Dad!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place for naps Madi. Too bad the peeps got wise and messed with the chair. Of course as you got bigger you probably developed another path to the top.
