Sparks
are all about spreading cheer and positive vibes via quotes.
Starting today I'll have a Christmas SPARKS every Monday
I'm thrilled to say our Sparkle is UP we sent about 2 hours decorating it yesterday.
We were very thankful we decided to get rid of the 8' tree we used to have.
This one is much more manageable.
This is the first year in 16 years we have not had Feline snoopervision but
I think Angel Madi would be pleased with what we did.
No gifts this year our daughter, SIL, my husband and I decided to donate what we would have spent on gifts to their Local Food Pantry and their County Animal Shelter.
Their Coastal County is still struggling to get over the devastating effects of
Hurricane Florence.

ReplyDeleteLOVE your tree as always - and your gifting idea is fab. YAM xx
We agree - smaller is better as we get older. Your tree looks beautiful and what a generous idea to give to the food pantry and the animal shelter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to do for Christmas. We applaud you loudly. You all have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI agree, a wonderful idea. We just recently took food to our local shelter, they were needing cat food. I think we might just follow your lead on giving to them again for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty tree and a wonderful gift of sharing that will be so appreciated by so many!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good gift from all of you to the people and critters that need help.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful.
Now that is the PAWFECT Spirit of Christmas

Your tree looks great. What a wonderful idea to donate your gift money to charity.
ReplyDeleteI love your sparkle and the first thought when I saw it, was no Madi to get on the mantle. what a super idea to donate to those in need. I love it...
ReplyDeleteWe're MOL that we have the SAME Spark today!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Your tree looks wonderful! And what a lovely idea to make donations to such a worthy cause!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
I love your Spark and your tree. I agree the big, tall trees are too much to handle.
ReplyDeleteI love your giving to those in need instead of buying gifts. Excellent idea.
Have a fabulous day, my friend. ♥
Great spark and beautiful tree. That is such a kind idea. XO
ReplyDeleteWe always donate at Christmas, ever since SHE read that $4 billion had been spent one year in Oz for unwanted gifts. So it has become an enjoyable day with friends and family since then.
ReplyDeleteWe just discovered the same Spark at Raz, Noelle, and Allie's place:) It truly is a great one and so easy to accomplish. Your Sparkle is beautiful - love the tree. Mom agrees that smaller is better at her age too. The peeps downsized their tree a couple of years ago. She still lets the big boys help her get it standing.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Your tree is lovely. That is such a nice idea to give to the Food Pantry and the shelter instead of exchanging gifts.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful tree and I know what it is to miss snoopervision. But Katie is here to take over the duties. XXX
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely decorations! And it is a wonderful idea to not have the gift exchange this year.
ReplyDeleteI think your tree is beautiful and I am sure Angel Madi approves! I LOVE that you are donating to worthy causes this year instead of exchanging gifts, that is beautiful! I also LOVE your "Sparks"
ReplyDeleteI love your tree! I think the idea of donating instead of buying gifts is a great idea. This is our first Christmas here with the grandbabies so I "might" be going a bit overboard. Ho Ho Ho!
ReplyDeleteNot only would Madi approve of your decorations, I bet she is pleased about how the family gift exchange ill be going to help others.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of giving...by giving!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sparkly tree...we decorated, but are skipping the tree this year. We'll be in Vegas Christmas day and are also skipping gifts this year!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
What a pretty tree. No tree for us this year...since we’re moving. We’ll just have to enjoy yours and all the other ones we see.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty tree. We got a smaller one a few years ago but it has only white lights. Mom likes the multi color better. We love what you are doing for Christmas

Oh, I LOVES your SPARKLE!!! That is one pawsome idea, and Ma thinks the donation idea will spread! I thinks when you gets to, *cough* a certain age *cough*, gifts aren't what Christmas is about ~ it's about family and kindness to others.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Tree is gorgeous! I am positive Madi would approve......your SPARKLE today is the same one Sharon of Friends Furever had and I LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
We love the new tree, and the idea it is
