Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is today's inspiration.
First of all I will admit to being left wordless by this photo, which is rare for me!!
My first thought was:
Row, Row your boat not today
WHY
You are frozen in time.
Weird
Entertaining at best
Aggravating at worst**
Tug boat might be needed
Here in NC, if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes,we can have 3 seasons in one day)
Experts with Doppler's are even fooled here
Reality is don't blow your gasket, go with the flow
**For instance, on Tuesday, December 10 we awoke to 60 degrees had a high of 76
on Wednesday, December 11, we awoke to 39 degrees our high was about 49.

Fans of my nephew KAT...
please come by tomorrow for Feline and
Nature Friday all by KAT!!
Funny, we say the same about the weather here in Scotland. Although we would never ever get 76ºF in December!
ReplyDeletehahaha ... yes!!!! what a super idea and what a fab thought!!
ReplyDeleteA contrast...that red sun and icy water...
ReplyDeleteNot only frozen in time, if you tried to row that boat you would get frozen to the seat!
ReplyDeleteYour December weather has been as nutty as ours has been! What a beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteSure glad we don't live there. No boat riding in that weather. You all have a super day.
ReplyDeleteBRRRRRRRRRRRRR, looks extremely cold. And, I know for a fact it's always colder on the water. Like how you used weather!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday.
That picture looks like the lakes around here. The temp was down in the teens this morning. Burrrrrr.
ReplyDeleteOh I like your shorty poem AND your WORD-o-GRAM too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom
Excellent choice of photos--we can see so much symbolism in it.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was global warming. Okay, I was around when everyone was saying we were going to go into an ice age.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug. ♥
Looks like that picture was taken in a very cold place. My GW says that when she was a kid, she and her siblings liked to go out on the coldest days of the year, and see the ice sculptures made by the mist coming off Niagara Falls. She said she didn't mind the cold then.
ReplyDeleteYeah we had an all time high on Tuesday of 84 and now a cold front moved in and it's overcast and dreary and windy and coolish...in the upper 60's.
ReplyDeleteI like water just fine...while standing on the shore! Boats, boating...NUH UH!
ReplyDeleteThat picture does make me shiver!! Our weather has been clouds, rain...rain and clouds for the past week...We're ready for a bit of sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYepper, twas hot here and now it's not!
ReplyDeleteI'll be here for Kat! We say the same thing here in East TN. Don't like the weather? Stick around...we get the same dealio as you all. Must be because we're neighbors. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm like Eastside Cats...I will stay OUT of the water, thankyouverymuch.
pee ess" Katie DOES sashshay!
Yesterday we had snow most of the morning - today rain
ReplyDeletehugs
Mabel & Hilda
That was a perfect caption for the photo. If we were on the water that would look like our house.
ReplyDeleteExcept for that sun, that photo is pretty dreary looking - it always seems colder by the water per Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe can have all crazy weather in one day here too. Today it was cold and windy. We don't mind the cold at all, but that wind is freaky.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You did a great job! XO
