  3. Excellent poem! So well expressed. Gail too has a fear of heights, which she thinks dates back to an episode when she was a child and she was made to walk along a partially collapsed sea wall with the tide coming in on either side...

  4. Happy to hear your furs will be trimmed SOON....I was thrilled to get mine whacked off this week. We absolutely love your poem too - it's just how we feel - just looking at that photo kinda makes me dizzy!!! Thanks for having fun with us on poetry day every week. It's so much fun to read everybody's poems isn't it??

  7. I am glad you are able to get your hair cut at last. Our hairdressers are not starting up again until the beginning of July. Of course it may change as there is another assessment meeting today.
I agree with you with the view from the balcony. There is no possible way I would sit out there.

  8. Mom got her furs done two weeks ago. One person at a time with the door locked between clients, and wearing a mask. But it got done. WHEW!

It's a funny thing; I have vertigo and can get that just looking up at tall buildings (witness tomorrow's post on Wild YAM); I can walk high places, fly no bother and would even parachute if needed... but ask me to go out on a balcony like that, or to the edge of a cliff??? NO WAY!!! I know from experience (and again I point to tomorrow's post) that if there is nothing proper to focus on, I'm a goner... YAM xx

  12. Our mom is still waiting for hair dressers to open around here. We love your poem and think it's perfect for that picture. Mom says she wouldn't be too fond of going close to that edge with just a glass wall for a railing.

  18. I feel exactly the same way! I've been on the cable car going over the Whirlpool in Niagara Falls, and been on the top of the mountain in the Alps. But no way I'd even set foot on that balcony!

Oh, and we are all anxiously waiting for hair cuts!!!!

Mom and Dad both got haircuts last week, and they were both happy with the precautions taken.

  21. Meowza, you humans have been meowing about getting your hair cut all over the blogesphere! Our Female Human was right with you until she got in there and "had some work done". I think if you humans were not so high maintenance, life would be much easier for you. Take a page from your feine's book, groom yourself and you never have to worry if that salon thingy is open.

  23. Who would have thought a hair cut would mean so much.

  24. Oh, that is FABulous news abouts your furs!!! Since Ma cuts my furs, I haven't had the pleasure of escaping the stealing of my furs. Ma does her own furs, so it hasn't affected her, butts she sure does get it abouts all the peeps wantin' their furs trimmed!
    Oh, your poem is brilliant!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥♥
