This small neighborhood is about 3 blocks from our home.
This fun teepee swing was seen just as I entered Leadmine Lake
Mr. and Mrs. Mallard were sunning themselves at the edge of Lead Mine Lake
Leadmine Lake
Leadmine Lake from a different angle taken same time as above but more sun
Beautiful scenery! and I really like seeing Mr and Mrs Mallard! I wonder what the cranes are for...
ReplyDeleteA fun swing. Beautiful lake. The ducks have a nice home.
ReplyDeleteThe lake is a lovely setting for that community.
ReplyDeleteDad says mom would never leave it if she had one of those teepee swings. She loves swings, rockers, gliders and all that. Oh, and dad wanted me to tell you that that Norfolk Pine you noted in my lounging photo was indeed our Christmas tree, and will likely be again this year. As long as it's allowed to live.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice quiet neighborhood.....love that swing and the pretty lake. Leadmine Lake - we assume there was a lead mind there in the past?
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
The teepee swing looks like a great place to read a book and laze away the day.

*(having trouble with Blogger playing big brother... was initially blocked form all places BLogger - now they deleted all my Saturday posts. Am awaiting tomorrow to see what happens...)
Your lakes around you are a wonderful treat. I looked up your lakes and they are all such a benefit to the community. There are some interesting things in the sky on your last picture. I could fall in love with the teepee swing!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like lovely place to live. We think that teepee swing would be cool to play in.
ReplyDeleteI like that first photo, the fence and the Sign wall, perfect symmetry. and a very interesting photo. what a lovely neighborhood to wander through but thought came to mind Leadmine is a scary name for a pond or neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a super pretty neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteI saw a mr and a miss duck the other day and they seemed to be dancing. They were copying each other and I think they might have been courting. Just such a shame he skedaddles the minute any baby arrives...

ReplyDeleteSomedays I would like to live the life of a duck.
