Thank you to our
Dearest Auntie HiC
On Saturday July 29
Mom spent 3 hours on our John Deere cutting our grass in the very HOT GEORGIA SUN!! She said I’m wiped out and I’m really feeling my age. 😹
We convinced her to stretch out on the bed and maybe read her book: American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.
P.S. Mom and Dad went to see this movie last week.
They said it was very good but also very long 3 hours?!
JUMPING CATFISH she obeyed
We are all good company❣️🐈❤️🐈⬛
Dear sweet Rocky and Kat thank you so much for making this most impawtant suggestion to Mom.
Lovingly Auntie HiC
A summer Sparks
and may I add
the humidity is below 70% which hasn't happened in July.

ReplyDeleteWell done, K and R, for getting mum to do proper r&f after her work! Hugs and whiskeries YAM-aunty xxx
we hope for such a summer day ... it was not much this year... wow 3 hours sitting in a chair... that would be impossible for our mama LOL
ReplyDeleteGail and her friend Alison are contemplating going to see the Oppenheimer movie this week but are unsure whether they have the stamina for a three hour epic!
ReplyDeleteThey are good boys getting mom to relax.! Great Spark and true. You are lucky to have humidity below 70. I wish we could get below 90. It is 92 today but at least it is cool which makes it seem not as bad.
ReplyDeleteThat is one thing I do not do around here is to cut grass. I always say I will Round Up the whole yard before I cut it.
ReplyDeleteMom isn't good at sitting still for hours, so a three hour movie is out. Maybe if it is on TV she will watch it one day when she can do other things at the same time. We have a couple days of almost a hundred with about the same humidity, then we have a couple "cold" days like today with temps in the 50's in the morning, dry air and highs in the upper seventies. Starting tomorrow we go back to the heat. A weird cycle.
ReplyDeleteour humidty is higher than the temp, 82 temp 85 humidty. walking in a steam bath. Kat and Rocky you are looking so precious while napping. hugs to all of you
ReplyDeleteRocky and Kat sure know how to live right!
ReplyDeleteAhhh...I couldn't sit for three hours, either, even if the movie was good!
We are glad your mom took your advice. Three hours is a long time with high temps and humidity! Love the spark!
ReplyDeleteKat and Rocky sure know how to relax. We're happy to report that we are having cool weather with low humidity here too.
ReplyDeleteYou two are so precious. That was a lot of lawn mowing in the horrible heat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug to Auntie C. ♥
Oh Mom ~ too much lawn mowing in the heat ~ sweet photos of the kitties who know how to 'chill.' Xo
ReplyDeleteHugs to Angel Madi,

Naps are very important!!
ReplyDeleteWe saw Oppenheimer last night and although it was long....the movie was wonderful! It's one of the movies that actually live up to the hype! Now I may have to pick up the book too!
hugs,
Beth
You kitties show your mom and all of us how it's done! XX
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the humidity!... that is BIG! Currently 66% but dewpoint is 80 feels like 108. An improvement over last weeks 117 feels like temps. I love love love your summer Spark. Kat airing it out and Rocky doing a shrimp. Glad their Mom took their advice.
ReplyDeleteSuch cuties. Great spark. The past couple days have been less humid. XO
ReplyDeleteYour Mom is very wise to listen to the two of you!
ReplyDeleteThe heat has been difficult on all of us, i'm glad you listened to your body and got some rest.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see that movie. Do Griffons get in half price? Ruby Rose
ReplyDeleteWOW....3 hours on a mower is brutal. It takes my Mom about 30 minutes to do our yard and even then her back will hurt her for the next two days! LOL A 3 hour movie is an impossibility for my Mom and Dad - they would fall asleep before it was over.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
When it gets too hot when I'm pushing a mower on my big hill of a front yard, and I have to come inside and sprawl out on our cool tile floor midway done, I know it's time to call the mowing company to take over for the summer!
