Wonderful Words on Wednesday

Thank you to our Hostess

Sandee at Comedy Plus

We celebrated Dad’s 72nd birthday on October 8th. He had a relaxing day at home (no yard work), & loved his birthday presents.

There is no music to the video BUT OMCs watch the bag Rocky is in move!!

Mom gave him new Sketchers, and silly Rocky gave him an old, copper coin from 1848! It’s a penny! What a useless gift! 😹

The octopus card was from Mom! 🐙

Dad said his favorite gift was the mug from ME!

❤️ Kat

Dearest Nephews...OMCs you gave the best Cat Dad in Georgia a purrfect day no work, lots of love and the video.

Rocky Auntie HiC has to say, "I want a penny for your thoughts",
Lovingly,
Auntie HiC

  3. Bummer, the holidays are coming and Halloween is here... since my back surgery hubby doesn't allow me down the stairs without an escort... sheesh! I want my decorations... I'm definitely a decorations person... I don't care if the kids are grown or not... I've got grandchildren too, but they don't come that often either... oh well, so sad.. first I had 4 children everywhere & now they're grown & they have their own... :( Kinda sad when you think about it. Well, HAPPY HALLOWEEN my friend!!! :) Have a great day!

Yeah, Kat, I suspect that penny is worth it's weight in gold... but your mug is definitely of daily use. Value can be measured so many ways! I add my greetings to your daddy and am so happy that you can blog to us via aunty Hi-C! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. I am glad your dad had a good birthday and lots of nice gifts. I think that large cent is worth a lot more than a cent now, particularly as it is in such good condition.
