Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #150

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is the photo challenge

A vacation full of
Sun, Sand and Sea
was all planned for me.
But alas it was not to be
Hang gliding was by first adventure
and my last
Now I sit in the sun, with my feet in the sand
and back to the sea
pitifully sipping an umbrella drink thru
a straw
OH ME

  1. Love the poem, it perfectly fits with the expression on the face of the cocktail drinker!

  3. Very funny. So I'm thinking in the museum if anybody fell from the ceiling the other day they would have ended up looking just like this, lol.

  4. That's perfect! I suspect that if they drink enough of those cocktails, they'll be feeling pretty happy...at least for a little while. 😆

  7. Hang gliding... just no. Great poem though. Hope he isn't on a beach in Florida, he's gonna get hot. We have been unusually chilly though.

  8. PERFECT! This guy will probably choose some OTHER things to do on the beach next time he goes.....OR......maybe he will just stay in the bar and not bother with "activities"!!!

  13. I like your take on the poem. Hang gliding looks fun, but I think I'm too chicken and the picture is why.
