Happy Tuesday

Thank you to our

Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

Fall has arrived (by the calendar) temps still a bit too warm

We are starting to decorate

Our fairy lights enhance our fall decor
The wood carving of Angel Madi is attached to her 'box'

The mantel was one of Madi's favorite spots to explore.  In her younger days,
she spent a lot of time on top of the secretary by the mantel.  She now resides there permanently.  This pose was how she greeted me each morning.  Of course, I rubbed her from head to tail

FRONT DOOR
A HAPPY accident at JoAnn's last week.  Their fall wreaths were 60% off.
This one was $39.99.  I grabbed  quick as greased lightning
$16.99 for this beautiful wreath
In case you are interested, the color of the door is
Dignity Blue.
We taped several samples on the wall by the door. Even red but the blue was the winner

  6. Love the color of the door. Everyone has a red door because someone once said it is the thing to have but we like those who venture out and get a different pretty color.

  7. I love the mantel and especially Madi's box. ❤️

Awesome bargain on the wreath! I have tons of fall decor, but none of it is being unpacked this year because I have to clear everything out for the flooring anyway. By the time that's all done, I'll be ready to decorate for Christmas! 😁

  9. Love the blue door but once again blue is my favorite color. And that fall wreath really makes it show off. We're still having hot summer up here but I have to admit today we are having a drizzle. I can only pray this drizzle last for about a month at this rate.

  10. So very pretty inside and out ... brings back my once-upon-a-time memories of decorating for the seasons and the holidays, now often missed a great deal!

  11. Dearest Cecilia,
Love that Madi is still in her favorite spot—up high!
That Dignity Blue is beautiful and so is your wreath.
Never have decorated for any season, except for Christmas but we gave all those lights and guirlandes away. For all the seasonal things, we got our tickets for flying home some 67 times across the ocean. That was more valuable!

  17. Oh how I love that blue door. I was thinking of red not long ago. Like you, I would have been as quick as greased lightening too to snap up that wreath! I snapped u a huge on-sale more than half off sale on a dogwood flower one at Hobby Lobby a year ago, and I can't being myself to change it. Angel Madi caught in mid-lovableness. I love her box. I got a new urn for Admiral. after a few years ..she is in the bedroom with me as she always used to be..but while it's beautiful, I wish I had thought of what you did for Madi. The mantle looks stunning. Really. The fairy lights make it even sweeter.

  21. The mantel looks beautiful - love the fairy lights. We are going to guess that you were not able to put those lights up when Madi did her mantel exploring). Great way to display your lovely pumpkin collection.
