Thank you to our
We thank our Hostess Sandee at
Today's review is of RELISH
Top photo is out door dining area
Bottom photo part of the very large dining room.
All of the wait staff had on Relish T-shirts with fun quotes. They were very busy and moving quickly.
I was able to read the below
“I want to grow my own food, but can’t find bacon seeds‼️”
And this very accommodating server posed for me.
Most all businesses in NC are donating a portion of profits to Western NC..estimated damage in our mountains is
$53 Billion....yes BILLION.
WE liked the artsy window on the wall behind our booth
Both selections were good but just too much food. WE could have easily shared one or the other. Next time we go we'll share.
GOOD news is we didn't need much supper. I had a bowl of Cheerios. Bryan had a
Ginger Ale and Lime Sherbet float.
Dearest Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteSounds like Relish is following a great concept of serving food in a fun way and impressive to donate to Western NC.
That is a huge portion of food indeed.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
That looks like a great place to have a meal...but like you say, they are not stingy with the portions, LOL!
ReplyDeleteGail looked at the menu and oh how she would love to eat there! Nobby approves of large portions as the words 'doggy bag', which he interprets literally, come to mind...

ReplyDeleteCrikey, they plan on feeding giants it seems! Does look good though. YAM xx
That taco is huge! It looks a good place to go as long as you know how big the portions are. I have very little appetite now so tend to go where they serve "small plates". Hopefully my appetite will come back in due course.
ReplyDeleteWOW, that taco is HUGE. Whenever I eat out I almost always take half home with me.
ReplyDeletewow that is a wonderful place with super food!!!! and we hope the damage can be covered and there is help for all ....
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fun restaurant with a good sense of humor and lots of food.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! That is good when you can skip having to fix anything at supper time. $53 Billion! My hub has friends in Ashville, Booneville and Richlands. Richlands of course was not involved with the disaster. His friends still have their homes thankgoodness.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks delicious and those are large portions which means doggy bags!
ReplyDeleteI love the outdoor dining places you find. Relish looks like a winner. That taco thing Bryan ordered is a hot mess in all the best ways. That's my kind of food! I love my green beans so that would be a choice. I can open a can of "LeJUEUR" (haha) green beans, heat them up and eat the whole can. Kudos to Relish for donating to the hurricane damaged areas in Western NC. Fun post, C!
ReplyDeletehow neat that proceeds are being donated to help the western part of your state, the sum needed is staggering…💔
ReplyDeleteOh my, another cool place to eat! The food looks great but yes, those are quite the huge servings!
ReplyDeleteit is a very attractive place and the food looks delish, hope you took home the left overs. we would like to find a place that is for seniors only and no kids allowed. ha ha
ReplyDeleteThat Macaroni Taco looks like somethig Ed would LOVE....I am with you, that is a bunch of food...but it looks like a nice place to revisit!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth

I'll take a bite of Bryan's meal, but your meal is the one that I would order. Delicious. I want to go with you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs. ♥
That's the kind of meal you cut in half and take the rest home for the next day!
ReplyDeleteThose meals both look tasty. We would have taken a doggy bag and had lunch or dinner for the next day.
ReplyDeleteAll the food looks great. XO

ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful how the state is pulling together to help those who were affected by the hurricanes. These stories are what we need to here, so many good people out there. I had to laugh at the purple shirt and oh my that food! Looks incredible! Sending hugs!
ReplyDelete(Sorry about my delete. My fingers were running faster than my brain apparently. too many typos and must remember to slow down and READ before I publish :)
Holy Cow! That's enough to feed a table instead of one. Of course, a fella can take the of it rest home. Love the name of the place. Makes my mouth water. You two find great places!
ReplyDeleteThat's great that they're donating a portion of the proceeds to help the Hurricane victims. And that cheese taco looks delicious and would have given me 4 meals!
ReplyDeleteThat cheese taco sure is HUGE. You could easily make two meals out of it. Mom would love that chicken wrap - looks tasty. Another new restaurant for your review.
