We have a wren who has taken up residence in the tractor barn. If either of us dares to go in while she is in there she gives us a right scolding. You wouldn't think one bird could chitter as fast as she does!
What a beautiful collage of your morning walk with shrubs and a bird. Yes that is a Carolina wren and I am so fortunate that we have so many in our backyard. They just get into everything as they are so inquisitive as they look for bugs
I had to pinch way out but I did find the little sweetie. we have no wrens but it is crow season and two days in a row as we walked, they're thousands of them flying in from Eggmont key. they make and incredible sound, not that loud cawing but more chittering and I do mean thousands. at night, just before sundown they go back to Eggmont key. the sky if full of them for a bout 3 minutes
Dearest Cecilia, Oh, my favorite little bird the Carolina Wren and I call them Schatje in Dutch = Sweetie. They are always upbeat and very active. Hugs, Mariette + Kitties
I kept looking at that round thing hanging from the hook and couldn't see any bird. Finally had to enlarge it before I realized it was sitting on top of the hook.
The song of Carolina Wren is loud and joyous, and it always makes me glad they share my world. It has expanded its range in recent years and is now quite common here.
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty scene with the still-blooming flowers!
ReplyDeleteI'm scolded more by squirrels than birds, though! 😁
