Dearest Auntie HiC
As you know, I, Rocky, had to go to the vet recently! 🙀
I have been itching, scratching & chewing on myself to the point where I’ve created hotspots. 😿
Dr. Renee gave me a steroid (Depo-Medrol) shot & said I’ll be feeling much better real soon.
Mom tried to get a picture of the hotspots but I was not cooperative! 😹
I’ve been giving Mom the “stink eye” all afternoon! 😼
Kat could smell the vet on me when I got home, and has been providing comfort❣️
I didn’t tell Kat I heard Dad make an appointment for him to have his annual exam, vaccines, & glucose check. No need to make him worry until necessary, & I’ll be there for him after his appointment. 😻
Lovingly your nephew,
❤️ Rocky

ROCKY this crazy up and down weather and changes in heat and ac inside. It can give us the itches too.
THANK GOODNESS DR Renee was there and all your adoring vet techs.
I bet you will feel better very soon.
I agree no need worrying Kat.
I love how caring he is in spite of vettie odors. I know you will give him the same loving attention when he comes home.
Loving and healing hugs
Your Auntie HiC 🥰🫶🏻‼️
Hope that the shot will help Rocky's skin to stop itching. How sweet of Kat to love on Rocky.
ReplyDeleteYour nephews are such cuties...as is your niece Cali.

ReplyDeleteI send you some of Blogville's POTP for speedy healing, Rocky. Hugs and whiskeries YAM-aunty xxx
I hope the shot stops those itchies, Rocky. It was nice of Kat to look after you when you got back home.
ReplyDeletehugs and potp , we hope you are better soon...
ReplyDeleteWe hope you feel less itchy very soon, Rocky!
ReplyDeleteMmm, makes me curious if we peoples come home with "doctor office smells" that our pets pick up on after our visits ... they are so much more aware and sensitive to these things that we are.
ReplyDeleteBeau says to tell you him Mama has had the itches since the 3 hurricanes came through our town in FL... we know about itchies and Beau started licking his paws after the storm. Hope the shot works quickly, and you both take good care of each other. shhhh my lips are sealed so Kat will now know
ReplyDeleteItchies are no fun at all. Hope that shot worked and you're feeling better. Always good to have a friend provide comfort after such an ordeal.
ReplyDeleteRocky, precious knows all about the itchies. They are absolutely no fun and if they can be done away with then let's do it. However she says it's also no fun to go and come home smelling like strangers. She had no one but me to rub the smell off and it took days.
ReplyDeleteWe always sniff up the dog who was gone really well to see where they got to go. If it is a vet smell, we are happy it was not our turn!
ReplyDeleteRocky, Kat is a good brother. He loves you.
ReplyDeleteRocky, I hope your itchies clear up soon! It's not food-related, is it? 🤔
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Kat when he goes. Nope, best not to tell him beforehand!!
Rocky, I am sure Dr. Renee and Kat will have you feeling better in no time! It's been unusually cold and dry in Florida (after 3 wet and ugly winded hurricanes... weather is nuts here) and we have the itchies too. Fingers crossed for quick relief, Rocky♥
ReplyDeleteWe have our paws crossed that Rocky feels better soon. What a wonderful brother Kat is to comfort Rocky after his visit to the vet.
ReplyDeleteVets are the very best and I know your peeps take wonderful care of you. As it should be. Hope that shot does the trick.
ReplyDeleteWe never tell the kitties when they have to go to the vet. They hate it and we know that. It's a must do though.
You two are most adorable.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

ReplyDeleteSweetheart, I am so sorry you went through all of that and the worry that going to the v-e-t brought. Get all better quickly. Love and smoochies from Kate Isabella and Mommy.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope the Vet helped those hotspots Rocky,. Our Angel bro Arty used to get them so we know they can be so itchy and get nasty if you don't get them treated!
