Both are big houses. Although nice, neither is my style.
ReplyDeleteWe have a bungalow and the roof looks flat from a distance. It does gently slope though and we get no problems with all the torrential rain we get.

ReplyDeleteFor me, the second house is more eye-catching and unique. I'm grateful this week for a normal pitch roof as the flooding rain just has not stopped. And not going to until Monday. Then watch out, our temps drop to 23! Precious will have little opportunity for catio time. Dick is enjoying dry hot air in Mobile Al for the rest of

Both look like nice houses but the second one is quite unique in it's design and I find it very appealing.
ReplyDeleteAlways have had a preference for the more "unusual or unique" home (and a big desire to peek inside, usually unfulfilled of course!!!) ... so do love the second one!

ReplyDeleteI like the 2nd ones looks much better but would not want to live in either one at this time in my life, but before I aged would have loved to move in the 2nd one.. flat roofs are a no for us
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks like a '50s home in South St. Louis, MO. Lots of sprawling ranch style homes. The second home is very interesting. I like them both. Truly is some symmetry going on. Pretty blue sky!

I also like the second home best. Just wouldn't want to be the roofer or have to get something that got thrown on the roof (kid's toys)/
