My next crochet project 'might' be learning or attempting to learn
63 patterns. All are 7" squares.
YAM Aunty, our Stitches hostess, loves cows and veggies. This symmetry is for her.
Seen at my local Harris Teeter...There are always fun designs here.

ReplyDeleteOh my word, Miss C... that will make a super blankie, all those lovely squares!!! I look forward to seeing them develop. And YES! Love the shop display!!! YAM xx
Those are cute cows in the window.
ReplyDeleteYou will be very busy crocheting all of these beautiful squares and your recipe at Chef Teddy's looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteWith the food displayed like that so attractively, it makes you afraid to walk over and pick up a sweet potato. You don't want to disturb anything. Hope you enjoy crocheting the blocks. I've been crocheting since my grandmother taught me at age 6.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the recipe over at Chef Teddy's post. So fun to see you there! It's going to be nice to see the patterns you create for your crochet projects! Harris Teeter... doing their thing and making us smile :)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
Oh my: good luck to one & all who can pick up "needles and yarns" and be creative, how I, who has never done more than sew a button on (and usually in the wrong place, at that) am So Envious of your talents!!! PeeEss: we peeked at your cooking talents already Ms. C ... yum.
ReplyDeleteSome of those patterns look very nice. I believe I have several books for crochet. I really should get them out and start doing that again. I haven't crocheted anything in a long time. I probably need a refresher course.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a big crochet sampler to tackle, but we know you are up to the task. That's a cute display at the store, too.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi makes a great chef portrait ~ and crocheting is so soothing ~ and creative ~ have fun ~ hugs
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs to you and Angel Madi ~ xo

ReplyDeleteI have no doubt you’ll have this mastered in no time. Cute farm symmetry!
ReplyDeleteI expect you will have a splendid time learning all the different stiches. I look forward to the final results. What a neat display of veggies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being our Guest Chefs at Castle Baconia! We had fun. My sister Carol just began crocheting - she still does some baby quilts from time to time but has decided to try crochet. GOOD LUCK - I never got the knack!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam (and Teddy too!)
I saw you at Teddy's. The recipe looks so good. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun pattern to crochet! I haven't knitted, crocheted or cross stitched in years, just no time.
ReplyDeleteLove your symmetry photo and your recipe sounds very good, and very easy.
Can't wait to see your crochet squares. That should be fun. I love veggies too.
