Lunch at The Wandering Moose aka the new Seaboard
Originally The Wandering Moose was Food truck only
Last year they moved to a permanent location which is about 2 1/2 miles from home.
They have inside dining Tavern style or patio Dining.

Moose Cubano

Slow roasted pork shoulder, homemade bacon, dill pickle, spicy mustard, and melted Swiss-American cheese, served on pressed ciabatta. with seasoned ff that were so good no ketchup required. WE both love ketchup on fries usually. Huge serving of FF we shared.
I wanted their chicken salad sandwich but it wasn't available
I ordered PULLED BBQ pork sandwich it was out of this world. Meat is cooked Montreal Style Smoked
WE sat on patio but they have inside dining which is tavern style. You order you food from the food truck then sit anywhere. Out of this world good
We ordered our food from the food truck...find a seat either inside or on the patio. It is delivered to the table.
WE sat outside on November 15..it was 70 degrees
Seaboard Cafe Closed September 2024...we have searched high and low for a venue with similar vibes. WE found it.

Is it now the still moose?
ReplyDeletehow wonderful that you found such a place... but its a little sad when the places we love have to close..
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad you found a great place to eat. Everything sounds and looks really good.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks good. I am glad you have found somewhere to replace the Seaboard Café.70 degrees is mid summer temperature for us!
ReplyDeleteThe food looks delicious. How unique that they still cook from the food truck.
ReplyDeletesooo happy you found a new place you can love as much as you loved Seaboard. what a super idea to have the truck and inside... fits everyone's needs.. perfect temps for eating out side and I see lots of sunshine. we are really hot for this time of year and last night I had to turn the AC back on

ReplyDeleteOh at last, a food base for you!!! This one does sound like a keeper - and I love that truck, of course! YAM xx
If that moose was up here this morning he'd be white and covered in a few inches of snow, lol. But since that moose was down where you had 70° and sunshine, I bet he was a little bit warm when he was serving up dinner that day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute name but we would expect to find it way up north deep in the woods! Glad you like it so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found another great spot! The food looks yummy, though admittedly for me, it would be a GERD attack for a week. 😆 I will "eat" vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteYou have me drooling! I"m so glad you found The Wandering Moose!

I want to go to lunch with you and your hubby. I'm sure hubby and I would have a great visit and a wonderful meal. Do you put cold slaw inside your pulled pork sandwich? The best way.
