Symmetry in the sky, stitches and spring on YouTube

Saturday stitches poncho project is moving along slowly..
I'm working on 90 rows, each row has 119 extended single crochet stitches. Once I get to the neck opening.  I'll be happy
Also I changed my mind*** on the Poncho Pattern
I'm making a Stearns Poncho out of the same yarn I was using.

***I made a major mistake on the original poncho. Had to take it out down to
ribbing.  Decided to change patterns.

Well done for frogging and staring over. I did just that yesterday with my latest new-start... a few rows in I was cussing and regretting the initial choice, so ripped it back and started with different hook and style - it now progresses well! I really like the look of yours and look forward to seeing the FO! YAM xx

  2. It’s going to look beautiful, worth the extra effort. I love your sky photo, so many contrails. That last image, I wish I could step into that photo right now :)

  4. WOW.....the poncho will be beautiful whichever way you make it......and you have WAY more airplane traffic way up in the sky then we do! The final image is so beautiful - I always dreamed of a yard like that but never had the time or money to do it!

  5. Your new poncho is coming along beautifully and I love your yarn choice. Is that a piano that I see outside in the garden? I hope it doesn't stay outside overnight.

  6. I love the color of your yarn. Pancho should be great when you get it finished. It's aggravating when you're working on a project crocheting and you have to rip it out and start again. I find myself doing that all the time so you're not unusual. I like the last picture with the colorful garden, and I do have to say now that my snow is melting I do have some daffodil leaves peaking up. They will bloom at the end of march.

  8. I have never seen that kind of poncho, I like the yarn color you are using for it. The spring photo, I spent a minute thinking, how did they get the piano out there and how will they get it back in if it starts to rain, what do they do when they have to cut the grass,

  13. I LOVE the poncho. Having to do some of it over reminds me of a story I may have ready told you. A newly with patterns and sewing machines, I was trying to make baby rompers for my son(s) and a blouse for me. Got through the rompers (with husband helping me thread...and then, the blouse. Following the pattern I thought...I cut out the left side what turned out to be three timer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because when I tried to pin it, I saw it was the left side again! And again! I gave up on the third time and quit! You should have seen the skirt I tried to make. That was worth weeping over. I never had anyone to teach me (no mom) and apparently self taught is not my thing!
