Thank you
This stained glass window in on the back side of the house which is the south side.
As the sun rises throughout the day...it travels around the window leaving the most

inspiring reflections.
Photography is about timing and light. Recently I was downstairs as the sun moving toward the west
I've never see a double shadow...EVER
It was over the tv
As continue to move westward... there was another shadow by the front door
The rectangular skylight on the 2nd floor is in the 'man cave' which is on the west side of the house! Bryan watches his SciFi movies and train programs on YouTube. Again perfect timing to see the rectangle become a diamond on the wall and reflect in the tv screen
Our front yard is popping with color
Our grass is very green in the spring.
Pink/lavender on left is our Forest Pansy Red Bud
Our neighbor's tall Maple towers above the Forest Pansy.
His maple is the most amazing red in the fall.
Middle is our Japanese Red Maple
Right side pink/lavender is our Native Red Bud and Maple behind it

ReplyDeleteWhat visual delights you brings us to start the week... beautiful! YAM xx
Very beautiful inside the house and extra beautiful outside as Spring is "springing up all over!".....
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy
your home is beautiful and all those trees flowering, welcome spring. You know I am a sun watcher in our house. I remember how much Madi love the window making the shadows and that double reflection is awesome. the thing about the sun is it changes every day and you may never see that double again.. the sun seems to find new things to point out.... our house faces NORTH, back side South and we get no sun on the front of the house because of trees.
ReplyDeleteI love those magical reflections! Incredible to see them x2!
ReplyDeleteI'm desperate for Spring weather; alas, winter will NOT give up this year.
The reflections are lovely. The trees in flower are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat window is really pretty and it leaves such wonderful reflections.
ReplyDeleteThank you especially for the exterior photos of the trees blooming in the green grass. So absolutely beautiful this morning as we had a hail storm and a thunderstorm go through here last night and we're back down to 30°. It was marvelous 72 yesterday for the first time since early october! I love seeing the reflections on your wall knowing that you had Sunshine coming through the windows.
ReplyDeleteGramma has a big, long stained glass window but we have not notices any reflections ever. Your yard really is bursting with spring and looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the cheerful shadows and your blooming trees are gorgeous! One of mom's very favorite trees is the Red Bud when it's in flower!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful way to start the week. I remember that window. Beautiful. Your yard is most fabulous. I love spring when everything comes alive.

How fun to watch the window shadows as they move across the rooms. Your spring trees look so lovely. We're still waiting for anything to start springing up around here.
