BUNNY ALERT
Nieces Rosy and Sunny
Do the bunnies in your yard blend in with their surroundings like this Peter cotton tail bunny.
OMDs he was quite comfy with his camouflage or perhaps just
cray-cray. He let me get within just a foot or so to snap
and he actually posed. I told him all about my nieces in New Mexico who were expert bunny wranglers...he was not impressed.
He was so embarrassed to hear this he wiggled his years in disbelief.

MADI AND MOM have a discussion
Mom: Madi.....Madi I'm talking to you. I know you are awake
I see your ear moving.
Madi: Well I'm awake now...
Mom: Why is my spread wrinkled?
Madi: I was trying to get under the spread.
Mom: Why aren't you sleeping on the 'special floral' mat I made for you?
Madi:Oh you mean the one you want me to sleep on to keep my lovely furs off the spread?
Madi:Oh you mean the one you want me to sleep on to keep my lovely furs off the spread?
Mom: Yes that one.
Madi: I repeat I was trying to get under the spread.
Mom: It is too hot to be under the spread.
Madi: I KNOW but remember you don't want my furs on the spread.
Madi: AND....I don't like that mat you made and besides....
....you are letting my stuffed bunny clone, Spring, sleep on the
spread, and if she can sit on it so can I!!
Mom: Madi sometimes you can be a very, very opinionated feline.
Madi: YAWNING!! Opinionated and feline are one in the same...
THE END
(PS never debate with a feline)

This morning we are taking a short trip to Cedar Creek Gallery today to see the Teapot Exhibit. It is held every 3 years.
We never buy any but we do love seeing them.

ReplyDeleteWell done on charming that bunny rabbit... and revisiting that fun convo you had with Madi! Enjoy those teapots - I remember the last time you were there and look forward to some more photos of interesting designs! YAM xx
We are hooked up with Cedar Creek Gallery on FB and have seen some of the teapots. They are so creative and beautiful! Mom loves the bunnies and I would really like to chase one but it will never happen as I'm never off-leash. It looks to me like you sleep wherever you want to, Madi!
ReplyDeleteThat rabbit was perfectly camouflaged. Looks like Madi won that discussion.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madie knew her mind didn't she. Once they've decided where to sleep you just might as well throw in the towel. Love the bunny rabbit you found outside. I will definitely be looking at the teapots and I'm envious that you get to go see them in person.
ReplyDeleteGiggles. I put "things" on the day bed, on chairs ... [protection] and JUNE manages to push them off or to the side ... ignore them. I WILL SLEEP/NAP on the real thing FUR sure.
ReplyDeleteNo camouflage can hide a rabbit from us. We smell them and then locate them. Mom doesn't see them but we do and then when we try to chase, she figures out where they are. Rabbits are a constant project on our walks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious Madi memory! She was indeed opinionated! 🥰
ReplyDeleteThat bunny sure does blend in to the background in your yard. I love the fun Madi flash back too.
ReplyDeleteYay for teapots! Can't wait to see what you find!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
Dear Aunty C, BUNNIES!!!!!!! Our bunnies hunch down and try to "becaome one" with the grass....unfortunately, they are brown and the grass is green. Looks like NC bunnies are a bunch smarter than NM bunnies BOL!

Rosy & Sunny
Angel Madi, the discussion with your Mom tickled me! I hope all the bunnies are getting the food and water that they need in these hot and dry days of early summer. Enjoy your Cedar Creek Gallery Day!

ReplyDeleteCute bunny. And great flashback from Angel Madi. XO
ReplyDeleteThat is some cute funny bunny! Fun with Angel Madi sure was!
ReplyDeletehahaha, Madi and any Kitty are gonna do what they wanna do. I bet the exhibit is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies around here are totally motionless when they spot us. And you are correct, they do blend in quite well with the surroundings. But we can smell them:)
ReplyDeleteMadi was a lady with a mind of her own:)
Woos - Misty and Timber
That’s quite a brave bunny.
ReplyDeleteMadi, you proved if you want to keep the bedspread free of cat hair, you have to cover the whole thing, which of course defeats the purpose of buying a pretty spread. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
From here, that looks like an Eastern cotton tail bunny. They freeze when they sense danger nearby. It's probably a youngster.
ReplyDeleteMadi, dear Angel Madi. We know you had every right to be on the bed cover. We like to be under it, too, on the soft blanket or sheet. XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
Enjoy your teapot exhibit. I wish I could find a bunny in our yard, so cute! Loved your conversation, I leave smiling :)
