  4. I'm so glad the mountain lion was relocated. I think that here they'd just shoot the poor thing, as they have done with bears a few times, years ago. (Stupid people.)

  5. Glad to hear they were able to get the mountain lion and relocate it. I'm sure it was much happier to be in a safer environment as well. I wonder how it wandered in to where they found it.

  6. Well I've always said I don't want to bear in my backyard, but I probably also don't want to Mountain lion. Even though they're a magnificent animal they certainly deserve wide berth. Kat you best not get too close. I'm not sure if they think you were a kitten or a meal.

  7. That would be very shocking to see in your yard! Yikes! We see fox and sometimes coyotes in the early mornings but they usually run when they see us or fox are curious and they follow us sometimes.

  15. I love that last image with the here kitty, kitty! Made me laugh, thank you :))) When we lived in San Diego to the north, we used to get mountain lions roaming around our neighborhood. Always needed to be vigilant. I remember a coyote coming into our yard and taking a snooze under one of our bushes. We left it until it made home into the hills at the back of us. Found a rattlesnake curled up on my neighbor's shady stoop. It was a real introduction to nature. It was also captured (in a trash bin) by my neighbor's husband, which was taken back up into the hills and released. Glad this mountain lion was captured safely and released in a better place for it and for everyone else. Hugs, Denise

  16. I have had bears in back here...but not a mountain lion. I would do anything in my power to see he was unhurt and really taken back to here he could be at home.

  17. Kat would stand up for himself and cause the Mountain Lion to drift off somewhere else.

  20. What a cool and scary cat. I hope it doesn’t get any ideas to keep getting cozy with people.
