Nature Friday host LLB Gang
Our Crepe Myrtles in full bloom in Mid June....most unusual at least a month early.
I expect the extra super duper heat in June fooled them into thinking it was July

July 3, 2016 Madi celebrates

Gorgeous Crepe Myrtles! Mine are the same color but not blooming yet. They probably don’t want to be exposed to our oppressive heat! 🥵
ReplyDeleteJust a thought! Instead of buying fireworks, buy some pet food & take it to a local shelter! Instead of making noise, make a difference❣️🐾❤️
We wish we could grow Crepe Myrtles here as they are so beautiful! Have a wonderful and a safe Fourth of July!
ReplyDeleteRemembering those gorgeous trees from our years as Michiganders ... we'll hunker down tomorrow, likely June in her "closet" when it all the booms start. Thankfully, being city dwellers, we have only the big-ones and no worries about neighbors here, there, up and down the street ...
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, stay safe and well through your areas celebrations.
Wow, they're really pretty. They're putting on quite a show for you
ReplyDeleteThose are incredible trees. Of course we can't have them this far north. Enjoy looking at them for me. And I enjoy looking at the sweet Angel Madie showing us the way to celebrate. Happy quiet holiday weekend, lol.

ReplyDeleteCrepe Myrtle is such a pretty tree... I hope the flowering can extend a bit for you to enjoy! YAM xx
Beautiful trees! We had a cold June, so our flowers were later than usual. Hopefully your trees will stay flowering for a while longer.
ReplyDeleteThose trees are so pretty. What a cute Madi flash back too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Crepe Myrtle! The heat has brought on "brown" season here.
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day!!
hugs,
Beth

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the USA and all those Luck enouh to be born on the 4th of July as well like my baby sister Linda.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right the extreme heat is confusing lots of plants. In the yard that touches ours their Rose of Sharon's are already blooming and that doesn't usually happen until late in August, about the time the kids go back to school. Gorgeous Crepe Myrtles
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Crepe Myrtles and adorable flashback of sweet Madi. XO
ReplyDeleteI missed the adorable & patriotic Madi collage earlier! Love it! Kit
ReplyDeleteThe Crepe Myrtles are beautiful. They look so healthy and happy where they are. I am sad we had to leave ours on The Tiny Ten. The second photo... the sky and the clouds... so pretty. Madi's post from 2016... yes, Happy Birthday, America! Madi❤️
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday x 250 to America, Happy 4th of July to you dear people and sweet felines :)
