Wordless Wednesday a story from Kit

We thank our Hostess Sandee at

 Comedy Plus

Last Thursday's photo challenge with twins reminded Kit this.

Just a few words of explanation

Shortly after Kit retired from teaching the daughter of Kit's dear friend had triplets ALL GIRLS.  She also had a 13 month old.  Her Mom set up a New Mom's  help 'train'.  Two Mom's helpers at a time.

"This was my first day with them.  I was out of my comfort zone, but I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!

Neither Kit or the other helper  had any children of their own.  I told Kit it was a gorgeous photo and smile.  She said "I am not sure that was a smile, I was in shock. Can you believe I had never changed a diaper until then".  However, all went well. She add, 'the girls all have graduated with honors and are attending college on scholarships.'

Kit I so much thank you for sharing this story and photo

  1. It was honestly one of the greatest experiences of my life❣️ I stayed with the girls 2 days a week until they were 6 months old. I only stopped going because we had a cross-country RV trip planned. When I returned 3 months later Mom was able to handle it herself! She was amazing!

  5. Oh my, I can't imagine having that many children so close in age. Kit was brave to take on the challenge. Good idea for the mother to have helpers come in.

  6. That certainly would have been an important moment to share with someone. The birth of three girls. I used to babysit and change diapers all the time, but I'm not sure if I would volunteer to handle three at once!

  7. Triplets would be three times the fun but the early years would be also more than triple the work.

  12. What a fun photo. Triplets........I truly can't imagine and share the look on your face. I too would have been far out of my comfort zone. I've changed more diapers than I can count through the years. As a teen I babysat all the time, so had lots of experience by the time I married and had my one practically perfect daughter.
