Take your best shot Mom
*****
You have seen 87 million pictures of Madi in this chair basking  in her fav sunpuddle;
however, the rest of the story is..as the sunpuddle moves Madi becomes so relaxed
her parts and pieces melt in all directions until she looks like this.
Who needs a chill pill when you have a sunpuddle?

The house is below is behind our house.  Just as twlight approached on Saturday, November 28th they turned on Christmas lights.  It made for quite a lovely picture.  It was the first house on our street to be decorated.

Funky Friday

Peep eye I see you...
My assistant took this picture from our back door
looking at me through the octagonal window.

I was sitting right here looking at her when she took it.
Sometimes Mom gets lucky with artsy pictures

Mom saw this most beautiful creatures on Thanksgiving Day...She thinks it is some kind of moth...
Do any of you recognize it?

This handsome male cardinal tried to start a conversation with Mom but she told him it wasn't polite to talk with his mouth full.  All our birds are really enjoying the sunflower seed and nut mixture this year.

THURSDAY THEME SONG: O CHRISTMAS TREE

How appropriate for December 1 to be on a Thursday.  Today we are featuring
O Christmas Tree-O Tannenbaum
for Hootin' Anni's very special meme day

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Thy leaves are so unchanging
Not only green when summer's here
But also when 'tis cold and dreary
O Christmas tree! O Christmas Tree!
They leaves are so unchanging

Milky-Way, the peeps first kitty, was a tree hugger.  He adored the tree
the peeps always put the tree for about a week w/o decorations.  To give MW a chance to
get used to it.  One year he was caught right smack in the middle of it with his high beams shining

O Christmas tree! O Christmas tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greates Glee!
O Christmas tree! O Christmas tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me

This is my human sis at 16 mos. old...(yes the Christmas tree is in the playpen)
to keep little sticky munchkins fingers from turning it over.

O Christmas tree! Oh Christmas Tree!
They candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

MOL look at the white Christmas tree at my grandpeeps house 1974.

From the base to summit, gay and bright
There's only splendor for the sight
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly
It is I, Madi, sitting very lady like under the tree.
unlike Milky-way and my human sis I've never bothered
the tree!!  Guess we know who is the brightest bulb on the tree.
MOL

O Christmas tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God as decked the
Thou bidst us true and faithful be
O Christmas tree! O Christmas tree!

TUESDAY TAIL TALE

IN THE FALL, WE GET HOURS OF SUN IN THE DINING ROOM WINDOW.  MADI TAKES FULL ADVANTAGE OF EVERY NANOSECOND, MOST OFTEN SITTING IN MY CHAIR.
RECENTLY, I TOOK SO MANY PICTURES OF HER IT WAS SHAMEFUL...BUT I'M RETIRED AND MADI IS SUCH A GOOD SUBJECT.

THE TITLE OF THIS TALE IS
"MONSTERS UNDER THE TABLE"

MADI WAS THOROUGHLY ENJOYING A SUNPUDDLE FACIAL WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN...

SHE NOTICED THE TABLE CLOTH WAS MOVING...SHE GAVE IT HER "I'M GETTING READY TO MAKE SHREDDED WHEAT OUT OF YOU MONSTER UNDER THE TABLE STARE". IT WAS HER TAIL WAGGING HAPPILY AGAINST THE TABLE CLOTH...

SOMETIMES MADI'S HEAD HAS NO CLUE WHAT HER TAIL IS DOING...
MAYBE HER TAIL  HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN
