The flag is flying at half staff in honor or Former Governor Jim Hunt
who passed the weekend before Christmas.
He served our state 2 consecutive 4 year terms
Then was elected a few years later for a 3rd term as the governor on North Carolina
Governor Hunt was the only NC governor to serve the state 3 times.
With everything frozen here it is nice to see warm places
