I worry about all the homeless animals. 😿

"Lord, bless the animals with no homes. Inspire humans to adopt, provide comfort, and act with compassion. Make us true friends to animals, so we may share in Your mercy and care for all Your creatures."

ReplyDeleteWe agree with you Cali, and not only for cats, but for dogs like us, too. We don't have a fireplace, but we sure do love our warm home esp in this winter weather, so cold and snowy!

ReplyDeleteWonderful prayer and a delightful post. Mom and dad were in PetSmart this past weekend and when dad went to check in with all the available kitties there was one who seemed to take to him instantly. Needless to say, he didn't wanna leave. Sheesh, I can't believe I had to write this...
ReplyDeleteI wrote on a Blog post yesterday that was talking about our drought here in Florida, that her empty pond and our drought makes me fret over the wildlife, even the butterflies and bees, all creatures that live outdoors need water and our part of Florida has less each day... we don't need a fireplace, we have the sunshine year round but I am so happy that you have your fireplace and that all of you are warm and happy.

Cali you do look warm and snuggly in front of that fire. It's a good thing humans know how to keep the house warm isn't it. It certainly not been the best year for cold weather up here. You and the boys be sure to stay warm. And give your mom lots of warm leg time.
ReplyDeleteIt would be terrible to be homeless anytime, let alone in the winter. We never see any cats around here, or roaming dogs. There must be some but we are glad we haven't seen any. Thankfully we have a good home.

ReplyDeleteCali, that is a beautiful prayer your Mom found♥ All our kitties were rescues and when we lived on the Tiny Ten we rescued the cats and kittens that people threw away on our property. You and your brothers and Mom and Dad have kind hearts.
