Here is the description she sent to me:

Cottonwood Drive in Pleasant View, a city that borders North Ogden and is just half a mile from our house and the elevation is 5500 feet.  The dirt road goes to parking for those who hike the Powerline Trail. If I would have turned around and taken a photo, it would have showed a view of the valley below. Moments after taking the pic the colors vanished.

Mom originally bought it for Rocky, because I’ve never cared much for toys.
I  started playing with it immediately. 
Mom has already ordered another for Rocky, and they’re on sale at Amazon for 10.99 (marked down from $24.99), if any other kitties are interested. 😺

wonderful Vet Tech Ms. Tara a thank you know for all her TLC yesterday?!  This is what I wrote:

Ms.Tara, Thank you for taking good care of me yesterday. I’m still a little groggy today, from the good drugs you gave me, but have a good appetite when I’m awake.

It is I, Rocky, here to say I a very thankful that it is Thursday and my
snip, clip and chip is 'history'.  I am thankful for all the good wishes from our furiends too.

Below I share a photo Mom took of me with a caption that my brother from another Mother
wrote  I heard that you giggled too.. Well that is ok 'cause I Rocky am all about happy, fun
and friends.  I like for my friends to MOL so here you go

PS.... here’s a picture of Rocky, saying goodbye to his chestnuts. Mom says he’s too “testoste-roni”!

I was truly amazed to finally see one in all my years, I have never ever NO never seen

one.

The cicadas (/sɪˈkɑːdə/ or /sɪˈkeɪdə/) are a superfamily, the Cicadoidea, of insects in the order Hemiptera (true bugs). They are in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha,^[a] along with smaller jumping bugs such as leafhoppers and froghoppers. The superfamily is divided into two families, Tettigarctidae, with two species in Australia, and Cicadidae, with more than 3,000 species described from around the world; many species remain undescribed.

Cicadas have prominent eyes set wide apart, short antennae, and membranous front wings. They have an exceptionally loud song, produced in most species by the rapid buckling and unbuckling of drumlike tymbals. The earliest known fossil Cicadomorpha appeared in the Upper Permian period; extant species occur all around the world in temperate to tropical climates. They typically live in trees, feeding on watery sap from xylem tissue and laying their eggs in a slit in the bark. Most cicadas are cryptic. The vast majority of species are active during the day as adults, with some calling at dawn or dusk. Only a rare few species are known to be nocturnal.

One genus, the periodical cicadas spend most of their lives as underground nymphs, emerging only after 13 or 17 years. The unusual duration and timing of their emergence may reduce the number of cicadas lost to predation, both by making them a less reliably available prey (so that any predator who evolved to depend on cicadas for sustenance might starve waiting for their emergence), and by emerging in such huge numbers that they will satiate any remaining predators before losing enough of their number to threaten their survival as a species.

Mom said she ordered a something to keep me happy this week, because I’m going to the vet at 8 am on August 19, Wednesday, to be “TUTORED!”

Dearest Orange Nephew Rocky...

Ohhhhh you aren't gonna have a care in the world once Mom cracks open the Cat Crack.  Ironically there are kitties who don't really respond to it...BUT happily both Milky-Way and Madi were crack heads.  Madi especially loved YEOWWW!
