I never ever NO never tire of seeing a Great Blue Heron

Top right photo was taken just as we entered the trail. Trail art of some king hanging across the trail. At first I thought they were chimes.

Poetic Paws
by Madison D. Cat
On a sunny day my mind wanders
to places and faces unknown it ponders.
I lounge in my sun puddles dreaming of Ramen Noodles dripping with the juices of fine nip.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Ellen from 15andmeowing. came up with the first two and her co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. Every October, I look forward to cooler days and nice walks.
2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as, of course, LITTLE RED RIDINGHOOD!!!
3. Maco Light, which is true, I've seen it, it is my favorite scary story. Click here to read about it. 4. I would find a pleasantly scented aroma and a hiding place if there were a zombie apocalypse.
We love seeing your herons, and of course adore reminders of your dear Madi.
ReplyDeleteHappy Nature Friday!

Herons are fun bird to see and watch. They have such a silly look to them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird. I love to watch them fish.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I love your scary story too.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. Big hug. ♥
Madi!!!! Such a beautiful ladycat. We sure miss her.
ReplyDeleteHerons are such majestic birds I think. Wouldn't you like to be a cat and lay in the sunshine coming through the window...trouble is getting up might be a problem. Hubby and I were just talking about costume parties and how long it's been since we've been to one. We both remembered how we dressed at that party. Some folks really get into Halloween, can't say I've been a huge fan, except as a kid getting candy.
ReplyDeleteWe love seeing herons too. That was a fun flash back poem from Madi, and we loved reading your fill-ins. That is quite a ghost story about the mysterious light.
ReplyDeleteOh adorable kitty photo and lovely heron photos ~ Hugs to Angel Madi ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days

Now to head over and read about the Macon Light!
The herons are particularly appealing and Madi...nothing more need be said because we all of us here know what a beauty she was. XXXXX

ReplyDeleteWe like seeing the herons too, they sure are fancy. Those were all good fill-in answers too.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and I enjoyed Angel Madi's poem. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am going to read that story. Funny I had Little Red Riding Hood for a different answer. :) XO
ReplyDeleteRamen noodles... I like the idea of them but have never had any I liked. Give me a can of chicken noodle soup from Campbell's. We love our big GBH birds too. Madi. a dramatic black and white... love it and you.
ReplyDeleteWe like to see herons too. I'm sure most of them are heading south from here by now. (Cold at night! Brrrrrr!)
