Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy
My mind's eye is creative
Somehow it never reaches my fingers
I am very good at coloring .....
Outside the lines.
Creativity comes in many forms.
Drawing, painting,
or interior decorating.
When Sassy Singer (sewing machine)
Sings,
My creativity shines
Gail and I love the poem and think it also shines with creativity.

Love your poem and you are very creative with your beautiful quilts! My parents were very talented people - my dad at drawing and mom at drawing and painting. Sadly, they didn't pass those talents down to me.

It appears he may have fallen asleep listening to all the comments, but he is a cat, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's just like our Mom. She can dream big ideas, but she can't draw at all. She always tells the story of how her mother would tell her to hide her school art work on the way home from school:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That reminds me that we haven't been to an art show in ages. We used to go the the Rochester Clothesline Art Festival all the time.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that is very sweet Kat. That's a nice poem too, we aren't the artistic type either. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about creativity
ReplyDeleteYou're a poet, too!
ReplyDeleteI can't sew, except a bit by hand. The last person who tried to teach me on a machine made me promise I'd never touch a sewing machine again.
About like ME!!!
DeleteKat looks preciously comfortable there listening.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sandra...PicMonkey is my creative place too. I can sew, but am not drawn to it. So glad you have that talent and passion.
