Selfie of my tall shadow on an EMW
Photos of before and after yesterday's interior painting.
Office/exercise/sewing room had not been painted in 25 years...
color is Sherwin William Breaktime Green we loved it then and still do. Thankful
SW still makes it.
The large desk, recumbent bike and chair were covered moved to center of room. Two small side tables were moved to the storage room.
All of the sewing/crafting furniture and desk chair are all wheels.
I rolled the sewing table and cabinet into the storage room that is connected to the room.
After it was painted, I vacuumed floor and mopped it before putting furniture back in place.
None of the furniture is completely against the wall yet.
We'll hang pictures mover furniture in place tomorrow.
Painter will be back Tuesday afternoon to paint our 1/2 bath.
The master bath, foyer and walls on either side of the stairs will be painted
Wednesday
The office/exercise/sewing room is looking fresh and enticing.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteI like the colour scheme. It's always nice to see things transformed and settled in once the decorators have finally gone.... and all is dry!

Lovely colour, and it looks much fresher now.
ReplyDeleteSuch a calming and relaxing color ~ freshly painted rooms are good for the soul and spirit.
ReplyDeleteYay for the painting! I love soothing shades of green, my favourite colour! Good luck with the rest of it!
ReplyDeleteDearest Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteHaving the interior re–painted is always quite a task but looks so good in the end!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
It looks so fresh and clean!

ReplyDelete...same but different, is that the idea? Bet it feels better. YAM xx
I love the way new paint makes a room see totally new and different. bob painted the inside walls the year he retired, while I was at work. he was 62 and now is 88, so that is how long its been since our walls were painted. almost the same as yours. you found the right painter for sure
ReplyDeleteThe green Walls look like a peaceful color. It's so much fun getting a room ready for painting even if someone else is waving the paintbrush around. I'm sure when it's all finished and put back together you'll be so pleased. Happy Sunday
ReplyDeletePretty color, Cecilia. Kind of a minty green. It's always nice to freshen things up a bit. Be sure to let us know how the rest of the painting goes. Dad's got some painting to do at the boss's house during Thanksgiving week. He says he loves painting as it allows him to zone out as he goes along, cutting & rolling and admiring his finished work.
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteWe love your color choice. It's always nice to give your rooms a fresh painting.
ReplyDeleteLove the color - nothing like a fresh coat of paint to give ANY room a new lease on life! Look perfect!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
You make it seem so easy! I love new paint. It is looking very nice, C. I wonder if your painter would come to Floriduh... Haha. He sounds like the superman of painting! Our painters usually paint like they have never had a paint brush in their hand.
ReplyDeleteNice paint color. XO
ReplyDeleteI need to have that done here but I'll never get the prep done...:-(
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice refresh!
ReplyDeleteYou've freshened it up beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThat is a long shadow
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and that shade of green is such a pretty and restful color.
